The lawsuit, led by attorney Mark Geragos, accuses Fox News of damaging\u2062 Mr.\u200b Biden&#8217;s reputation. Spearheaded by attorney Mark Geragos, the lawsuit accuses Fox News of tarnishing Mr. Biden&#8217;s reputation, prompted by a string of purported defamatory incidents involving the network.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_78\">\n<p>Lawyers for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/hunter-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Hunter Biden<\/a> plan to sue <a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/fox-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Fox News<\/a> \u201cimminently\u201d on defamation grounds, according to a letter sent to the network.<\/p>\n<p>The Tuesday letter, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/politics-news\/lawyers-hunter-biden-plan-sue-fox-news-rcna149707?taid=662fd0e551bd250001c1f8b2&#038;utm_campaign=trueanthem&#038;utm_medium=social\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>obtained<\/a> by <a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/nbc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>NBC<\/a> News, which served as a litigation notice for Fox News, alleges its \u201cconspiracy and subsequent actions to defame <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/politics-news\/judge-rejects-hunter-bidens-bid-dismiss-federal-gun-charges-rcna147675\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Mr. Biden<\/a> and paint him in a false light, the unlicensed commercial exploitation of his image, name, and likeness, and the unlawful publication of hacked intimate images of him.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Biden has reportedly hired attorney Mark Geragos and his firm to represent him in his lawsuit against Fox. Geragos has represented many celebrity clients, such as singer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/local\/lanow\/la-me-mark-geragos-profile-20190327-story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Michael Jackson<\/a>, former NFL player Colin Kaepernick, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/culture\/culture-news\/jussie-smollett-osundairo-brothers-defamation-war-1323800\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>actor<\/a> Jussie Smollett, and <a href=\"https:\/\/geragos.com\/notable-clients\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>musician<\/a> Chris Brown.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor the last five years, Fox News has relentlessly attacked Hunter Biden and made him a caricature in order to boost ratings and for its financial gain,\u201d Geragos said in a statement. \u201cThe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/conservative-charged-with-election-interference-for-social-media-post\/\" title=\"Conservative charged with election interference for social media post\">recent indictment<\/a> of FBI informant Smirnov has exposed the conspiracy of disinformation that has been fueled by Fox, enabled by their paid agents and monetized by the Fox enterprise.
