More recently, a Chinese defector immigrant, Xi Van Fleet, has been on a crusade to warn Americans about the parallels between what is happening in America today and what Mao did in the Chinese Cultural Revolution.<\/p>\n<p>The systematic plan Bezmenov revealed involves four fluid stages of communist subversion: 1) demoralization, 2) disorientation, 3) crisis, and 4) normalization. In <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/books\/edition\/Mao_s_America\/KpKwEAAAQBAJ?hl=en&#038;gbpv=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mao\u2019s America<\/a><\/em>, Xi Van Fleet explains how Mao\u2019s destruction of the \u201cFour Olds\u201d (old ideas, old culture, old customs, and old habits) is being replicated by today\u2019s leftist cancel culture, which will end what is left of freedom in America if not stopped.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2-long d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-457043881\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1379703300879-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-4520c458a7d675ba895b70bca292f43b fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-4520c458a7d675ba895b70bca292f43b\"><\/div>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Demoralization<\/h2>\n<p>The first stage in the Bezmenov analysis, demoralization, lasts a generation or more. One of its main thrusts is to undermine the Judeo-Christian beliefs, customs, habits, and traditions that have been foundational to America \u2014 these parallel the Four Olds that Mao destroyed in China.<\/p>\n<p>Another target for demoralization is the family, which communists want to replace with the state. Xi Van Fleet points out that just as the Chinese Cultural Revolution turned children against their parents, American families are under increasing attack. Government schools, the medical establishment, and popular culture \u2014 which now support the transgender movement \u2014 are increasingly turning children against their parents.<\/p>\n<p>A third demoralization strategy is breaking the people\u2019s loyalty and love for their country by rewriting history, denigrating the founders and national heroes, and destroying historic monuments \u2014 again, the Four Olds. In summary, the goal of demoralization is to disconnect people from the virtue of the past and render them unable to assess what is true.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Disorientation<\/h2>\n<p>The second stage of the communist strategy, according to Bezmenov, builds on demoralization to advance society\u2019s disorientation, a condition wherein the masses feel bewildered and helpless. While it\u2019s impossible to prove intentionality at this time, the China-originated Covid-19 pandemic caused massive disorientation in the U.S. when the government mandated masks, social distancing, quarantines, lockdowns, and the abandonment of tried-and-true medical practices of preventive and therapeutic treatments.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-29f3b5675982318a51d327ff73427f3b fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-29f3b5675982318a51d327ff73427f3b\"><\/div>\n<p>Another important part of disorientation happened early in the Covid crisis after the death of George Floyd. Assertions of systemic racism in law enforcement triggered rioting, looting, and the destruction of several billion dollars\u2019 worth of property, along with the tearing down of historic statues and memorials in many cities across the United States. <\/p>\n<p>Americans became further disoriented when they realized government authorities were unable or unwilling to do anything about the destruction in big cities across America. There were few arrests while more than <a href=\"https:\/\/majorcitieschiefs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/MCCA-Report-on-the-2020-Protest-and-Civil-Unrest.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2,000 police officers were injured<\/a>. Disorientation may have reached its peak when cities with the most lawlessness, such as Minneapolis, Seattle, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Baltimore,\u00a0initiated efforts to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/us-news\/2021\/mar\/07\/us-cities-defund-police-transferring-money-community\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">defund<\/a> local law enforcement.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Crisis<\/h2>\n<p>Following disorientation is the crisis stage. An unprecedented crisis stage for America came in November 2020 with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Rigged-Media-Democrats-Seized-Elections\/dp\/168451259X\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">election rigging<\/a>. Democrat operatives exploited the fear factor of Covid-19 in the summer months of 2020. They visited almost every swing state to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/democrat-lawyer-behind-russia-hoax-attacks-press-freedom-after-nyt-expose-deletes-tweets\/\" title=\"Democrat Lawyer Behind Russia Hoax Attacks Press Freedom After NYT Expose; Deletes Tweets\">change voting rules<\/a> to accommodate expanded mail-in ballots, drop boxes, and extended vote-tally deadlines \u2014 all of which facilitate vote fraud.<\/p>\n<p>The crisis that ensued from election irregularity was deepened by the massive media and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/mexico-president-condemns-censorship-of-president-trump\/\" title=\"Mexico President condemns censorship of President Trump\">social media censorship<\/a> and cancellation campaigns that began well before the Nov. 3, 2020, election. The Department of Homeland Security division called the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, better known as CISA, <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/05\/03\/lawsuit-shows-governments-hands-all-over-the-election-integrity-partnerships-censorship-campaign\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">collaborated<\/a> with the Stanford University-based NGO Election Integrity Partnership (EIP) to suppress information that would help Trump.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-f0d7bf314747fea29edda5a8f63add6e fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-f0d7bf314747fea29edda5a8f63add6e\"><\/div>\n<p>EIP launched a campaign to prevent the public from challenging the anticipated voting irregularities by getting agreements from all the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ga-poll-watcher-it-expert-non-trump-supporter-affidavit-sudden-surge-of-20000-mail-in-votes-for-biden-in-early-hours-on-nov\/\" title=\"GA Poll Watcher, IT Expert, Non-Trump Supporter Affidavit: Sudden Surge of 20,000 Mail-In-Votes For Biden In Early Hours On Nov\">social media companies<\/a> \u2014 Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Reddit, and Pinterest \u2014 to modify their customer terms-of-service policies to incorporate language about \u201cdelegitimization.\u201d Once that was accomplished, <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/MikeBenzCyber\/status\/1666925704334950402?s=20&#038;utm_source=substack&#038;utm_medium=email(opens%20in%20a%20new%20tab)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">according to Mike Benz<\/a>, a former U.S. State Department communications policymaker and an expert on propaganda, the door was opened to algorithmic mass censorship and cancellation.<\/p>\n<p>EIP <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MikeBenzCyber\/status\/1666925704334950402?s=20&#038;utm_source=substack&#038;utm_medium=email\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">exerted<\/a> pressure on all the social media companies to adhere to their customer service policies and censor, cancel, or deplatform any content that contained \u201cdelegitimized\u201d narratives about new election protocols and \u201cprocesses,\u201d election \u201cissues and outcomes,\u201d \u201cmail-in ballots,\u201d \u201cearly voting,\u201d \u201cdrop boxes,\u201d \u201cDominion Voting Systems,\u201d and \u201cAntifa.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The media treatment of the Hunter Biden laptop story that broke in mid-October 2020 in the New York Post illustrates just how quickly the channels of propaganda and media manipulation fall into place. The laptop story (which contained massive incriminating evidence revealing a compromised Joe Biden family), was immediately delegitimized and taken down from every <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/roger-stone-announces-he-will-sue-those-who-arrested-him-and-put-him-in-front-of-a-kangaroo-court\/\" title=\"Roger Stone Announces He Will Sue Those Who Arrested Him and Put Him In Front of a Kangaroo Court\">social media site<\/a>. At the same time, 51 former top intelligence officials signed a letter, published in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2023\/05\/16\/us\/politics\/republicans-hunter-biden-laptop.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The New York Times<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2023\/02\/13\/hunter-biden-laptop-claims-russian-disinfo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Washington Post<\/a>, stating that the contents of Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop had \u201call the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After the 2020 election, social media effectively thwarted discussion about election fraud. Again EIP insisted that social media companies uphold the terms-of-service contracts that required <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/MikeBenzCyber\/status\/1666925704334950402?s=20&#038;utm_source=substack&#038;utm_medium=email(opens%20in%20a%20new%20tab)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">censoring<\/a> social media content containing newly delegitimized terms, such as \u201cStop the Steal,\u201d \u201cdead voter rolls,\u201d \u201cSharpiegate,\u201d \u201cstolen election,\u201d \u201cballot harvesting,\u201d and \u201cPostal Service,\u201d to name a few. Additionally, people questioning the integrity of the 2020 election were marginalized by the media and discredited as \u201celection deniers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bemenov\u2019s four stages are fluid, so demoralization and disorientation continue in the crisis stage. We see this with lawfare against Donald Trump, his aides, and some 1,200 Jan. 6 participants arrested by the FBI.<\/p>\n<p>The target is not just Trump and his supporters, but the American people, who are now seeing that large parts of the justice system in America resemble that of a banana republic. With equal justice under the law and respect for the Constitution being mocked, the subliminal message is, \u201cThis is not the America you know; it\u2019s a new world that you have entered, so get used to it.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Normalization<\/h2>\n<p>While America is still in the crisis stage, some subversion experts argue that the lawfare, censorship, and cancellation regimes that now exist are really part of the last stage of communist takeover known as normalization \u2014 Bezmenov\u2019s fourth and final stage. If America\u2019s borders remain open and the American people are denied access to information, become accustomed to rigged elections, accept limitations on free speech, and acquiesce to the rewriting of history, the constitutional republic that was the United States will be gone, and the new world of communist global elite control will be normalized.<\/p>\n<p>John Adams, the second president, unequivocally warned, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.masshist.org\/digitaladams\/archive\/doc?id=L17750707ja\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cLiberty once lost is lost forever.\u201d<\/a> It is no longer enough just to man the ramparts.
