He added that she made an appearance at Saturday\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/white-house-correspondents-dinner\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>White House correspondent\u2019s dinner<\/a>, during which a couple of jokes were made about her.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe last time they did that was when Obama hit my father onstage, and then he went to win the White House,\u201d Eric Trump said on Fox News\u2019s <em>Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo<\/em>. \u201cSo the fact that they\u2019re talking about her at the White House correspondent\u2019s dinner, I think is validation that she\u2019s doing a hell of a job, and I\u2019m proud of her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Eric Trump added that his wife is \u201cworking tirelessly\u201d in the RNC, which she has made into \u201can incredible organization\u201d ahead of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/2024-elections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>2024<\/a> presidential election. He predicted that his father will emerge as the victor.<\/p>\n<p>Lara Trump is working as co-chairwoman of the RNC with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/opinion\/2911358\/to-do-list-new-rnc-chairman-michael-whatley\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Michael Whatley<\/a>, the former chairman of the North Carolina GOP. She added that her goal is to \u201chave people\u2019s trust restored in our electoral process.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, Lara Trump stated that five swing states, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia, and Wisconsin, are of particular interest to the RNC to secure her father-in-law\u2019s victory in the 2024 presidential election.
