Lindsey Graham (R-SC) defended former President Donald Trump this week against the criminal charges that he faces from the Manhattan District Attorney\u2019s Office, saying that he believes the entire case is \u201cBS.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Graham made the remarks during a Sunday interview with Dana Bash on CNN\u2019s \u201cState of the Union,\u201d when they discussed the ongoing prosecutions against Trump.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf he\u2019s convicted in any of these trials, would it change my view? No,\u201d Graham said. \u201cI think all these trials are political. I think it\u2019s selective prosecution. I think what\u2019s going on in New York is an outrage. The case is eight years ago. They created a crime just for Trump. I think it\u2019s selective prosecution for political purposes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think the Jack Smith trial is selective prosecution,\u201d he continued. \u201cThey didn\u2019t go after Clinton, they didn\u2019t go after Biden on classified information breaches.
