He <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/james-biden-claims-president-was-not-involved-in-family-business-dealings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">denied<\/a> that President Biden had any involvement in his business activities and rejected a previous POLITICO <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2024\/02\/18\/the-biden-name-how-the-presidents-brother-became-embroiled-in-a-hospital-fiasco-00141868\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">report<\/a> that said he invoked his brother\u2019s name to promote a hospital chain that collapsed. In addition, as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/joe-bidens-brother-told-the-irs-that-hunter-was-in-business-with-protege-of-chinese-president\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> by The Daily Wire, notes revealed during the deposition showed James Biden told the Internal Revenue Service that Hunter Biden, the president\u2019s son, told him he was in business with a \u201cprotege\u201d of Chinese leader Xi Jinping.<\/p>\n<p>House GOP investigators have said they are looking into whether James Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/staff-looking-at-whether-james-biden-told-the-truth-in-deposition-house-gop-investigators-say\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201ctold the truth\u201d<\/a> in his deposition after finding apparent inconsistencies with other impeachment probe witnesses, which Comer suggested could <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/comer-says-biden-impeachment-inquiry-will-lead-to-multiple-criminal-referrals\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lead to criminal referrals<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Comer formally invited\u00a0President Biden to testify in mid-April and said investigators had accounted for $24 million that \u201cflowed\u201d toward Biden, his family, and their business associates from other countries, such as China and Ukraine.
