Bush, setting\u200b a concerning precedent.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/eric-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Eric Trump<\/a>, one of former President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Donald Trump\">Donald Trump<\/a>\u2018s sons, warned that if the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/supreme-court\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Supreme Court<\/a> does not issue his father immunity, prosecutors are \u201cgoing to go after every <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-campaign-becomes-make-america-great-again-pac\/\" title=\"Trump campaign becomes \u2018Make America Great Again\u2019 PAC\">single president<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Fox News\u2019s <em>Sunday Morning Futures<\/em> with Maria Bartiromo, Eric Trump said presidents should receive full immunity from actions done while in office, or else a dangerous precedent of investigating former presidents,\u00a0including former Presidents <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/Barack-Obama\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Barack Obama<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/George-W-Bush\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>George W. Bush<\/a>, could be set in place. Eric Trump outlined his takeaways from last week\u2019s oral arguments before the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hollywood-celebs-rage-in-defeat-after-barrett-confirmation-revolting-disgraceful-unconscionable\/\" title=\"Hollywood Celebs Rage in Defeat After Barrett Confirmation: 'Revolting. I know the system very, very well,\u201d Eric Trump said. \u201cThe only people who are going to benefit are the big law firms in Washington, D.C., because they are going to go after every single president.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Eric Trump questioned where prosecution of a former president would stop, saying \u201cThey\u2019ll start with Obama, fast and furious, right where he gives two thousand weapons to cartel members. Then, they\u2019ll go to Obama where he weaponized the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/IRS\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>IRS<\/a> against conservatives.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>He continued, \u201cWhere do you want us to stop? They could go after George Bush for lying about weapons of mass destruction,\u201d Eric Trump said. \u201cWhere does this stop, Maria?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>During the Supreme Court\u2019s oral arguments last week, justices <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2024\/04\/25\/trump-immunity-supreme-court-takeaways\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>generally seemed<\/a> to agree that former President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2982254\/arizona-lawmaker-gets-1-year-in-prison-in-child-molestation-case\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Arizona lawmaker gets 1 year in prison in child molestation case\">Donald Trump<\/a> does not have blanket immunity from prosecution. The conservative justices were more so concerned about how the decision could affect future presidencies than as it pertained to Trump, while the liberal justices believed full immunity would create a \u201clawless King\u201d out of Trump. <\/p>\n<p>Eric Trump said the only \u201cwinners\u2019 from a Supreme Court decision that does not grant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/tucker-carlson-warns-bidens-crackdown-on-second-amendment-isnt-about-guns-its-about-control\/\" title=\"Tucker Carlson Warns: Biden\u2019s Crackdown On Second Amendment Isn\u2019t About Guns, It\u2019s About Control\">total immunity<\/a> will be lawyers in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n<p>He also said he believed prosecutors would go after President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/Joe-Biden\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Joe Biden<\/a> after his presidency.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe floodgates are going to open, and I guarantee you Joe Biden will not have one foot outside of the White House before they start going after him illegally, ruthlessly,\u201d Eric Trump said. <\/p>\n<p>He reaffirmed that presidents need immunity post-Oval Office. <\/p>\n<p>\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/Presidents\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Presidents<\/a> need immunity in this country.
