(AP Photo\/John Minchillo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThey examined him and sent him to Bellevue,\u201d Aidala said. \u201cIt seems like he needs a lot of help, physically. He\u2019s got a lot of problems. He\u2019s getting all kinds of tests. He\u2019s somewhat of a train wreck, health-wise.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Among Weinstein\u2019s many health troubles are cardiac problems, diabetes, sleep apnea, and eye problems. Aidala complained that the prison system was mistreating his client.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was not treated well,\u201d he said. \u201cThey refused to give him even a sip of water, no food, no bathroom break. He\u2019s a 72-year-old sickly man.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Despite this, Aidala maintains that Weinstein is doing well mentally, saying that he is \u201csharp as a tack.
