Florida \u2063Governor Ron DeSantis and Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters stated that these rules are illegal\u2062 and unconstitutional, infringing on women&#8217;s rights and \u2062<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/gab-ceo-i-had-very-close-relationships-with-facebook-and-twitteri-got-to-see-the-evils-of-their-business-model-for-many-yearswhat-were-s\/\" title=\"GAB CEO: \u201cI had very close relationships with Facebook and Twitter\u2026\u201dI got to see the evils of their business model for many years\u201d\u2026\u201dWhat we\u2019re seeing in America right now is the rise of Communism\u201d[VIDEO]\">free speech protections<\/a>.\u200d They are resisting the implementation of these controversial regulations.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<figure>                         <\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Florida and Oklahoma have instructed their schools to reject implementation of new Title IX rules proposed by the Biden administration that allow males \u201cidentifying\u201d as females to invade women\u2019s spaces. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are not going to let Joe Biden try to inject men into women\u2019s activities,\u201d Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said in a Thursday video <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/GovRonDeSantis\/status\/1783536464317255919\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">statement<\/a>. \u201cWe will not comply.\u201d   <\/p>\n<p>As my colleague Jordan Boyd previously <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/04\/19\/biden-admins-title-ix-rewrite-obliterates-female-spaces-free-speech-and-due-process\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported<\/a>, the new guidelines released by the Education Department last week \u201ceffectively erase protections for sex-based spaces by expanding the Title IX prohibition against sex discrimination to include \u2018gender identity\u2019 \u2014 a term that\u2019s never mentioned in the original law.\u201d This means that men proclaiming to be women will be permitted to use female-only spaces such as locker rooms and sororities and participate in female-only sports leagues. <\/p>\n<p>The rules \u2014 which are set to take effect on Aug. 1 \u2014 also repeal existing free speech protections, parental rights, and safeguards for individuals accused of sexual assault. <\/p>\n<p><strong>[READ:[READ:<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/04\/25\/bidens-title-ix-rule-guarantees-discrimination-censorship-and-the-end-of-parents-rights\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Biden\u2019s Title IX Rule Guarantees Discrimination, Censorship, And The End Of Parents\u2019 Rights<\/a>]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>DeSantis\u2019 comments came a day after Florida Commissioner on Education Manny Diaz Jr. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/social-justice\/2024\/04\/25\/florida-vows-to-fight-biden-administrations-title-ix-changes-joe-biden-trying-to-gaslight-the-country\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">penned<\/a> a letter stating that \u201cno educational institution [in the state] should begin implementing any changes\u201d to Title IX put forward by the Biden administration. Diaz argued that the federal government\u2019s reimagining of the law is an \u201cattempt to gaslight the country into believing that biological sex no longer has any meaning.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/who-is-shenna-bellows-the-maine-official-who-removed-trump-from-primary-ballots\/\" title=\"Shenna Bellows, a Maine official, removed Trump from primary ballots. Who is she?\">legal challenges unfold<\/a>, and the Department has the opportunity to analyze this rule, I will release guidance on how to implement it in a way that is consistent with our goal to keep Florida #1 in education,\u201d Diaz Jr. wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters similarly authored a <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BreccanFThies\/status\/1783136137348808861\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">letter<\/a> on Wednesday instructing school superintendents throughout the Sooner State to refrain from making \u201cany district policy changes based on the new Title IX regulations,\u201d claiming the regulations are \u201cillegal and unconstitutional.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>These new rules \u201cviolate the First Amendment, the Administrative Procedures Act, and longstanding civil rights protections for women and girls,\u201d Walters wrote. \u201cThe [Education Department] has not been given the legislative or judicial authority to redefine \u2018sex.\u2019 I expect there will be litigation filed soon challenging the validity of these rules.\u201d  <\/p>\n<p>\u201c[M]aking policy changes before the courts come to a definitive ruling on the legality of these rules could put your district out of compliance with other current and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/mike-tyson-evander-holyfield-form-unlikely-cannabis-partnership-for-mike-bites\/\" title=\"Mike Tyson &#038; Evander Holyfield Form Unlikely Cannabis Partnership for \u201cMike Bites\u201d\">legal state<\/a> and federal statute[s],\u201d he added. <\/p>\n<p>Earlier this week, the Oklahoma Senate <a href=\"https:\/\/oksenate.gov\/press-releases\/senator-garvin-secures-senate-passage-womens-bill-rights\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">passed<\/a> the Women\u2019s Bill of Rights (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.oklegislature.gov\/BillInfo.aspx?Bill=HB1449&#038;Session=2400\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HB 1449<\/a>). According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/oksenate.gov\/press-releases\/senator-garvin-secures-senate-passage-womens-bill-rights\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">press release<\/a> from GOP Sen. Jessica Garvin (the principal Senate author), the legislation \u201censure[s] all statutory references to women refer to a person\u2019s biological sex and, specifically, individuals who were born female.\u201d While the bill passed the House last month, it was amended upon arrival in the Senate, meaning the new version must be voted on by the lower chamber before it can be submitted to Gov. Kevin Stitt for signature. <\/p>\n<figure>\n<p><span><\/p>\n<blockquote data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Biden&#8217;s re-write of Title IX is one of the most illegal and radical moves we have ever seen from the Federal Government.
