Conversations are expected to center around various issues of contention between Washington and Beijing, such as the Chinese military\u2019s increasingly aggressive behavior in the Taiwan Strait and South China Sea. During Thursday talks with CCP officials in Shanghai, Blinken <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/us-china-taiwan-ukraine-tiktok-blinken-397a23494cc818a3205ceebb4bb78e4b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reportedly<\/a> \u201craised concerns about (Chinese) trade policies and non<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ron-johnson-biden-highly-compromised-due-to-hunters-chinese-influence-peddling\/\" title=\"Ron Johnson: Biden Highly Compromised Due to Hunter's Chinese Influence Peddling\">-market economic practices<\/a>,\u201d according to the State Department. <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2-long d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-1394700687\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1379703300879-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-d1c55803e47912dcf7a2b59795849c06 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-d1c55803e47912dcf7a2b59795849c06\"><\/div>\n<p>But raising concerns and demonstrating capable U.S. leadership are two different things, the latter of which President Joe Biden has failed to an embarrassing degree. Since taking office, America\u2019s 46th president has crippled his nation\u2019s economy and national sovereignty, while executing a disastrous foreign policy agenda that\u2019s permitted China\u2019s rise to go virtually unchallenged. <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When the Parents Are Away, the Children Will Play<\/h2>\n<p>Chinese President Xi Jinping has used Biden\u2019s faltering presidency to further his own agenda, such as advancing Beijing\u2019s territorial claims throughout the Indo-Pacific and challenging the existing U.S.-led world order.<\/p>\n<p>In the South China Sea, Chinese military vessels have spent the past several months harassing the Philippines, a U.S. treaty ally. The Philippines currently has sailors stationed at an abandoned warship stationed at the Second Thomas Shoal, a submerged reef in the South China Sea. Manila intentionally grounded the ship there in 1999 to assert its sovereignty over the region.<\/p>\n<p>During recent routine re-supply missions to the shoal, Philippine vessels have come under siege from the Chinese coast guard, whose ships have deployed \u201cgrey-zone\u201d tactics \u201csuch as use of water cannon, collision and ramming tactics,\u201d according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/asia-pacific\/south-china-sea-why-are-china-philippines-tensions-heating-up-2024-04-11\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Reuters<\/a>. Much like Manila, Beijing claims sovereignty over the region. <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-582a98c2342a0dfeec0958f9bdfea35e fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-582a98c2342a0dfeec0958f9bdfea35e\"><\/div>\n<p>Meanwhile, Chinese aggression towards Taiwan has noticeably increased since Biden took office.  The island\u2019s defense ministry <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/china-military-aircraft-taiwan-strait-2023-1858106#:~:text=China%20Deployed%20Over%201%2C700%20Military%20Planes%20Around%20Taiwan%20in%202023,-Published%20Jan%2005&#038;text=A%20total%20of%201%2C709%20Chinese,by%20the%20Taiwan%20Defense%20Ministry.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported<\/a> in January it tracked 1,709 Chinese warplanes entering Taiwan\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/senator-urges-biden-administration-to-keep-confronting-china\/\" title=\"Senator Urges Biden Administration to Keep Confronting China\">air defense identification zone<\/a> in 2023. While the total is a slight decline from the 1,738 detected in 2022, it\u2019s an almost 76 percent increase from \u201cthe 972 reported in 2021 \u2014 the first full year they were commonplace,\u201d according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/china-military-aircraft-taiwan-strait-2023-1858106#:~:text=China%20Deployed%20Over%201%2C700%20Military%20Planes%20Around%20Taiwan%20in%202023,-Published%20Jan%2005&#038;text=A%20total%20of%201%2C709%20Chinese,by%20the%20Taiwan%20Defense%20Ministry.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Newsweek<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Notably, China <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/world\/china-sends-warplanes-boats-taiwan-phone-call-xi-biden\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">deployed<\/a> several warplanes and naval ships near Taiwan following a phone call between Biden and Xi earlier this month. <\/p>\n<p>Taipei\u2019s defense ministry has also reported incursions by People\u2019s Liberation Army Navy vessels in the waters surrounding the island. Following then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi\u2019s visit to Taiwan in August 2022, China <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/08\/04\/america-needs-to-figure-out-its-long-term-taiwan-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">conducted<\/a> live-fire military exercises in and around the Taiwan Strait. Beijing has used the incident to <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/09\/01\/communist-china-is-trying-to-bully-taiwan-into-a-new-status-quo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">alter the status quo<\/a> in the Taiwan Strait by frequently sending its military craft across the Strait\u2019s median line, which had acted as a buffer zone between the two nations for decades.<\/p>\n<p>These actions don\u2019t even include China\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/06\/06\/bidens-declining-mental-acuity-is-a-big-welcome-mat-to-red-chinas-aggression\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">repeated harassment<\/a> of U.S. military assets in the Indo-Pacific or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/news\/world\/chinas-ships-sail-near-disputed-islands-us-has-pledged-to-defend\/ar-BB1lv4Zo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">challenging<\/a> of Japanese control of the Senkaku Islands.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-4b499b8139368eba6331c17931d5da6a fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-4b499b8139368eba6331c17931d5da6a\"><\/div>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Weakness at Home Invites Aggression Abroad<\/h2>\n<p>China\u2019s increasing aggression abroad isn\u2019t surprising given the destructive behavior and policies Biden has orchestrated at home. <\/p>\n<p>On top of crippling the U.S. economy through massive government spending and restrictive regulations, the Delaware Democrat and his team of Marxist malcontents have done little (if anything) to counter Beijing\u2019s growing interference in America\u2019s domestic affairs. In February 2022, for instance, Biden\u2019s thoroughly corrupt <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/tag\/department-of-justice\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Department of Justice<\/a> shut down a CCP anti-espionage program because \u2014 wait for it \u2014 agency officials were worried it would be perceived as racist. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy grouping cases under the China Initiative rubric, we helped give rise to a harmful perception that the department applies a lower standard to investigate and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-canceled-trumps-program-identifying-chinese-threats-last-february\/\" title=\"Biden Canceled Trump\u2019s Program Identifying Chinese Threats Last February\">prosecute criminal conduct related<\/a> to that country or that we in some way view people with racial, ethnic or familial ties to China differently,\u201d Assistant Attorney General for National Security Matthew Olsen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2022\/02\/23\/doj-shuts-down-china-focused-anti-espionage-program-00011065\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s worth mentioning that a Chinese national was arrested last month for attempting to drive onto a California Marine Corps base without authorization. While an investigation into the matter remains ongoing, Military.com <a href=\"https:\/\/www.military.com\/daily-news\/2024\/04\/01\/chinese-national-attempted-run-gate-twentynine-palms-marine-corps-base-california.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">notes,<\/a> \u201crising concerns in the last few years surrounding an apparent influx of Chinese intelligence efforts made around military installations and involving service members.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>And don\u2019t forget when a Chinese spy balloon drifted into U.S. airspace and the Biden administration waited to shoot it down until after it traversed the entire Lower 48 and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/national-security\/china-spy-balloon-collected-intelligence-us-military-bases-rcna77155\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">collected data<\/a> from U.S. military installations. <\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s \u201cLet everyone in!\u201d immigration policies have also created U.S. national security problems, including an alarming increase in the number of Chinese nationals apprehended at the U.S.-Mexico border. Last week, the House Committee on Homeland Security released a <a href=\"https:\/\/homeland.house.gov\/2024\/04\/18\/startling-stats-factsheet-encounters-of-chinese-nationals-surpass-all-fiscal-year-2023-at-the-southwest-border\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fact sheet<\/a> revealing \u201c[s]o far in FY24, 24,376 Chinese nationals have been encountered at the Southwest border.\u201d According to the report, that figure exceeds the number of Chinese nationals encountered at the border throughout the 2023 fiscal year. <\/p>\n<p>These lax enforcement policies are also posing risks to military bases in U.S.-controlled territories such as Guam, where authorities have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/severe-addiction-rise-feared-as-at-home-drinking-soars-in-lockdown-ireland\/\" title=\"Severe Addiction Rise Feared as At-Home Drinking Soars in Lockdown Ireland\">raised alarm bells<\/a> in recent weeks about the influx of Chinese nationals attempting to access the island. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.guampdn.com\/news\/security-concerns-over-118-chinese-nationals-illegal-entries-to-guam-tenorio-says-feds-underperforming\/article_37fcdff4-f327-11ee-a395-07e88eb8e46d.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pacific Daily News<\/a>, \u201c118 Chinese nationals have been documented trying or succeeding to illegally enter Guam since 2022, and several have been identified on federal watchlists as potential security threats.\u201d Island officials claimed the Biden administration\u2019s deportation restrictions are making it difficult to address the problem. <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A New World Order?<\/h2>\n<p>Biden\u2019s domestic and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/why-we-should-worry-that-kamala-harris-is-already-taking-foreign-calls-on-bidens-behalf\/\" title=\"Why We Should Worry That Kamala Harris Is Already Taking Foreign Calls On Biden\u2019s Behalf\">foreign policy failures<\/a> (thus far) are too numerous to detail in one article. But the point remains: America \u2014 and the world \u2014 cannot afford another four years of Biden as president. <\/p>\n<p>The destruction wrought by his administration has not only led to suffering among millions of Americans; it\u2019s completely destabilized the global security environment. Does anyone genuinely believe it\u2019s a mere coincidence Russia decided to invade Ukraine with Biden in office? Or that Hamas would launch its deadliest terrorist attack yet against Israel? Or that Iran and North Korea would become more aggressive?<\/p>\n<p>Whether it\u2019s botching the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan or leaving America\u2019s border wide open, Biden\u2019s suicidal policies have invited the world\u2019s greatest threats to lash out and advance their agendas without fear of repercussions. <\/p>\n<p>Adversaries such as China recognize weakness \u2014 and in Biden, that\u2019s exactly what they see.
