I\u2019d be quite happy to step in if they would give it to me. Obviously, the case is absurd. \u2026 Catching and killing a story is very common. Politicians have been doing it forever,\u201d Walsh said, referring to the charges against Trump alleging that he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-indictment-in-stormy-daniels-hush-money-payment-investigation-imminent\/\" title=\"Trump indictment in Stormy Daniels hush-money payment investigation 'imminent'\">falsified business records<\/a> to cover up an alleged affair with porn actress Stormy Daniels.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf what Trump did here rises to the level of a felony, it\u2019s serious enough that we should try to put a former president in jail, well then every former president alive today should be in jail,\u201d Walsh added. \u201cMany other politicians should be sitting in jail. And I think we all understand that.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Walsh then blasted those bringing the case against Trump, such as Democratic Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe worst thing about this \u2014 this is all by design obviously \u2014 there\u2019s just no chance that Trump is getting a fair trial. He can\u2019t. It\u2019s, like, impossible, and it would be impossible even if they were trying to give him a fair trial, which they aren\u2019t,\u201d the Daily Wire host said, adding, \u201cThe whole thing is just a total farce.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The two <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/white-house-vetting-reporter-questions-ahead-of-briefings\/\" title=\"White House vetting reporter questions ahead of briefings\">conservative commentators<\/a> then discussed Walsh\u2019s new court comedy series.
