The Biden administration&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/u-s-regulators-wont-accept-any-restrictions-on-china-audit-access-sources\/\" title=\"U.S. regulators won\u2019t accept any restrictions on China audit access \u2013 sources\">finalized rules<\/a> on Title IX\u2062 could impact single-sex activities and use of preferred pronouns.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>EXCLUSIVE \u2014<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/oklahoma\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Oklahoma<\/a> State Superintendent of Public Instruction Ryan Walters is directing all <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/five-cities-where-teachers-unions-are-keeping-schools-shutdown\/\" title=\"Five Cities Where Teachers Unions Are Keeping Schools Shutdown\">local school districts<\/a> in his state not to comply with the Biden administration\u2019s rewrite of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/title-ix\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Title IX<\/a> because it puts \u201cwomen in danger.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a letter Wednesday to all local superintendents in the state obtained exclusively by the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em>, Walters called on districts not to make policy changes based on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2971440\/biden-administration-finalizes-controversial-title-ix-rule\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>controversial Title IX overhaul<\/a>, which redefines sex to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/devos-bidens-title-ix-overhaul-will-be-used-to-harm-women\/\" title=\"DeVos criticizes Biden's Title IX changes as potentially harming women\">include claimed gender identities<\/a>, calling the rewrite \u201cillegal\u201d and outside compliance with Oklahoma law.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn Oklahoma, we don\u2019t bend to the senseless will of Biden and his posse eradicating women\u2019s rights and putting women in danger,\u201d Walters told the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em>. \u201cThis is why I\u2019ve instructed every superintendent in my state to completely ignore Biden\u2019s new Title IX changes that allow males to roam in female locker rooms, dorms, and bathrooms \u2014 places where women should feel safe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Walters urged other states to follow Oklahoma\u2019s lead in fighting the Title IX changes, saying, \u201cIt\u2019s time for every state leader to stand up and say enough of this preposterous charade that erases women and puts their safety in jeopardy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, the Biden administration finalized rules governing Title IX, stripping many Trump-era protections from the statute and injecting gender theory into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/4-states-pushing-bills-to-keep-biological-men-out-of-womens-sports\/\" title=\"4 States Pushing Bills To Keep Biological Men Out Of Women\u2019s Sports\">school policies<\/a> by, for example, allowing boys in girls\u2019 restrooms as young as elementary school.<\/p>\n<p>Walters warned the superintendents that the new rule could abolish single-sex extracurricular activities, gender-specific locker rooms and restrooms, and other spaces traditionally maintained for safety and privacy reasons. He also warned that the new rules could make rejecting the use of \u201cpreferred pronouns\u201d for transgender-identifying children a Title IX violation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI expect there will be litigation filed soon challenging the validity of these rules,\u201d Walters\u2019s letter stated, noting state legislators are considering legislation in Oklahoma to define \u201cman\u201d and \u201cwoman\u201d by biological sex. \u201cAlthough these rule changes are set to go into effect August 1, I hope and expect there to be a preliminary injunction and possibly a permanent injunction that would delay the implementation of these rules while the rule is decided in federal court, which could be an indefinite amount of time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Walters offered legal and policy support to the school districts to avoid compliance with the new Title IX.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, Walters sent another letter, obtained by the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em>, to Education Secretary Miguel Cardona, slamming his agency\u2019s rules as \u201cthe most devastating attack on women\u2019s rights in our country\u2019s history\u201d and calling on him to resign if he will not change course.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTitle IX was designed to ensure women had the guarantee of sex equality in education and an environment free from discrimination,\u201d the letter stated. \u201cBut with one pen stroke, you have set women\u2019s rights back decades while weaponizing Title IX into a means to enforce the Administration\u2019s radical ideological viewpoint.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He called on Cardona to reverse the rule changes, saying he had a choice between going \u201cto sleep at night knowing that you\u2019ve made it more difficult for women to succeed in America\u201d and \u201cdoing the right thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile the country will never forget how you sacrificed women\u2019s rights in a sad attempt to appeal to the most radical wing of your party, you can still avoid the permanent damage these rules will inflict on women,\u201d Walters added.<\/p>\n<p>The Department of Education did not return a request for comment from the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Oklahoma&#8217;s State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Ryan Walters, instructs all local school districts not to adhere to the Biden administration&#8217;s Title IX revisions, citing risks to women&#8217;s safety.
