We have to wait a little longer,\u201d said Wanda Kelly, Kelly\u2019s wife.<\/p>\n<p>The defendant said he had worried more for his wife than himself.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">\u201cLet me go home,\u201d George Alan Kelly speaks after the mistrial was declared. There\u2019s no evidence that this person is here for those kinds of benign purposes,\u201d defense attorney Brenna Larkin said, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/judge-declares-mistrial-case-arizona-rancher-charged-murder-mexican-national-border-property\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fox News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd we bring that up, not, you know, to be judgmental about Gabriel or to not have compassion for him,\u201d Larkin said. \u201cBut when people are involved in a criminal lifestyle, it\u2019s dangerous. It\u2019s more inherently dangerous than simply being a migrant who\u2019s coming here.
