Just absolute unhinged lunacy. You\u2019re going to make it,\u201d her friend says as they pass a \u201cState Line 1 Mile\u201d sign.<\/p>\n<p>Suddenly sirens blare, and a police car pulls the girls over.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMiss, I\u2019m gonna need you to step out of the vehicle, take a pregnancy test,\u201d a state trooper tells the woman in a thick southern accent.<\/p>\n<p>The officer taps a pregnancy test on the window.<\/p>\n<p>The woman is then shown being handcuffed and bent over the cop car as she looks at the camera with a pained expression.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTrump Republicans want to criminalize young Alabama women who travel for reproductive care,\u201d the ad\u2019s narrator says.<\/p>\n<p>The ad calls on viewers to \u201cstop them\u201d and directs people to a link for Newsom\u2019s Campaign for Democracy political action committee.<\/p>\n<p>The issue at the heart of the ad is about minor girls traveling for abortions, not women.<\/p>\n<p>Three states, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and Alabama are considering bills that crack down on minors traveling out of state to get an abortion without parental consent, the PAC\u2019s link explains.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, the PAC\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/act.gavinnewsom.com\/signup\/right_to_travel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a> references \u201cwomen\u201d multiple times.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey want to lock women and girls down completely, taking away their constitutional right to travel,\u201d the website reads.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese are states that basically want to imprison women and young girls,\u201d the PAC adds. \u201cIt\u2019s a backdoor nationwide abortion ban, denying women the opportunity to go to a freedom state.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Daily Wire\u2019s Matt Walsh reacted to the ad on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJust absolute unhinged lunacy.
