Outlets\u2019 tunes, however, changed this week when stories began to circulate about Israel allegedly destroying the \u201cmajority of Gaza\u2019s frozen embryos.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Reuters <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/middle-east\/5000-lives-one-shell-gazas-ivf-embryos-destroyed-by-israeli-strike-2024-04-17\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">published<\/a> an article, video segment, and <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Reuters\/status\/1780955458301223083\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">podcast<\/a> last week lamenting a December airstrike it says destroyed an estimated 4,000 frozen embryos in Gaza City\u2019s Al Basma IVF facility, as well as stored sperm and eggs. Until now, corporate media have ferociously defended the destruction of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catholicnewsagency.com\/news\/257066\/more-human-embryos-destroyed-through-ivf-than-abortion-every-year\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">millions of embryos<\/a>, some of which were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC5237322\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">likely viable<\/a>. That\u2019s what\u2019s required to keep IVF operative. Nor have corporate media expressed concern about the fate of the <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/02\/02\/theres-only-one-way-for-the-1-million-embryos-stuck-in-frozen-orphanages-to-make-it-out-alive-adoption\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">1 million little lives likely doomed to indefinite frozen storage<\/a>, which ultimately means their deaths. <\/p>\n<p>When the Alabama Supreme Court <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/02\/20\/what-the-alabama-supreme-courts-ruling-on-frozen-embryos-means-for-big-fertility\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ruled<\/a> that families who lost embryos after the breach of an allegedly secure fertility facility could sue under the state\u2019s Wrongful Death of a Minor Act, press outlets at home and abroad complained that test tube babies weren\u2019t worth legal protection. Many publications, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/business\/healthcare-pharmaceuticals\/alabamas-highest-court-ruled-frozen-embryos-are-people-what-is-next-2024-02-23\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">including Reuters<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/02\/23\/fearmongering-about-alabama-supreme-court-embryo-ruling-obscures-truth-about-reproductive-tech\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">claimed<\/a> the ruling, which reaffirmed the <a href=\"https:\/\/codes.findlaw.com\/al\/alabama-constitution-of-1901\/al-const-art-i-sect-36-06\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201csanctity of unborn life and the rights of unborn children<\/a>,\u201d was the Christian, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-pro-life-movement-in-america-must-recover-its-intellectual-foundation\/\" title=\"The Pro-Life Movement In America Must Recover Its Intellectual Foundation\">pro-life community\u2019<\/a>s attempt to advance its quest to acquire personhood rights for unborn babies. <\/p>\n<p>Their fake news <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/02\/23\/fearmongering-about-alabama-supreme-court-embryo-ruling-obscures-truth-about-reproductive-tech\/\">fearmongering<\/a> led to the temporary shutdown of several of the Cotton State\u2019s fertility facilities, a rushed bill that offered immunity to big fertility despite episodes of <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/couples-allege-ivf-provider-destroyed-embryos-toxic-solution\/story?id=109386947\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">negligence<\/a>, and a national fight over Democrats\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/02\/27\/if-senate-republicans-are-really-pro-life-theyll-stop-democrats-ivf-bill-condemning-unborn-to-death\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">radical assisted reproductive technology<\/a> bill.<\/p>\n<p>Corporate media aren\u2019t concerned with protecting human embryos. In fact, they work overtime to amplify the businesses and politicians who want to shield ethically questionable practices like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/04\/20\/health\/pgta-ivf-pregnancy-test.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">unreliable genetic testing<\/a> that <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/06\/08\/popular-genetic-testing-pits-unborn-siblings-against-each-other-and-the-highest-scorer-gets-to-live\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">pits frozen siblings<\/a> against each other, <a href=\"https:\/\/thembeforeus.com\/the-sacrificing-of-excess-children-to-fulfill-adult-desires\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">premature disposal<\/a>, manufacturing <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/10\/05\/gay-couple-in-nyc-demands-taxpayers-fund-creation-of-motherless-children\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">motherless and fatherless children<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/12\/10\/how-one-scientist-lost-big-trying-to-genetically-enhance-unborn-babies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cgene editing,\u201d<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/07\/22\/the-global-fertility-industry-seeks-to-erase-women-from-procreation-one-manufactured-egg-at-a-time\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sidelining women in reproduction<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/03\/26\/big-fertility-harms-babies-and-women-so-why-are-we-celebrating-it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">surrogacy<\/a>.\u00a0They also cheerlead abortion, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spuc.org.uk\/Article\/385407\/Abortion-leading-cause-of-death-around-the-world-killing-more-people-than-cancer-and-disease-in-2022\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the number one killer in the world<\/a>, every chance they get.  <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-a464034b279990ec67ffbb8e15fcef4a fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-a464034b279990ec67ffbb8e15fcef4a\"><\/div>\n<p>The loss of any unborn, innocent life is a tragedy.
