Harris\u2019s announcement Monday underscores an opportunity for Biden in Wisconsin as the president tries to shore up his support among union workers and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/seniors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>seniors<\/a>. Trump\u2019s populist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/economy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>economic policies<\/a> and Biden\u2019s own response to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/inflation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>inflation<\/a> have undermined the current president\u2019s standing with the former, while the country\u2019s aging population becoming more liberal, as opposed to more conservative, has improved it with the latter.<\/p>\n<p>The nursing home minimum staffing rule will require all homes that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/mayo-clinic-debuts-woke-policies-including-wearable-pronoun-buttons\/\" title=\"Mayo Clinic Debuts Woke Policies Including Wearable Pronoun Buttons\">receive federal funding<\/a> through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/medicare\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Medicare<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/medicaid\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Medicaid<\/a> to have 3.48 hours per resident per day of total staffing, including a defined number from both registered nurses and nurse aides.
