This move has raised concerns about the participation of males in female spaces, including sports teams and clubs, going against \u200dstate laws.\u200c The rules also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/from-woke-walkouts-to-dumping-selective-enrollment-illinois-schools-are-melting-down\/\" title=\"Illinois schools in chaos: Woke walkouts and selective enrollment dumped\">impact due process<\/a> for those accused of sexual \u2062misconduct and could lead to censorship in \u2063schools.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p><?xml encoding=\"utf-8\" ?><?xml encoding=\"utf-8\" ?><?xml encoding=\"utf-8\" ?><\/p>\n<div class=\"article-content\">\n<p>The Biden administration\u2019s Department of Education unveiled a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ed.gov\/news\/press-releases\/us-department-education-releases-final-title-ix-regulations-providing-vital-protections-against-sex-discrimination\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sweeping set of rules<\/a> on Friday that effectively erase protections for sex-based spaces by expanding the Title IX prohibition against sex discrimination to include \u201cgender identity\u201d \u2014 a term that\u2019s never mentioned in the original law.<\/p>\n<p>A majority of Americans <a href=\"https:\/\/news.gallup.com\/poll\/507023\/say-birth-gender-dictate-sports-participation.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">agree<\/a> that males who claim to identify otherwise should not be allowed to infiltrate girls\u2019 and women\u2019s sports teams. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lgbtmap.org\/equality-maps\/sports_participation_bans\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">As of now, some 25 states<\/a> have laws or regulations aimed at keeping boys and men out of female-only spaces, on and off the field.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2-long d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-1950156474\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1379703300879-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-061e9c319dd7d62db807fce712f34fc8 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-061e9c319dd7d62db807fce712f34fc8\"><\/div>\n<p>Yet, come Aug. 1, the Democrat regime\u2019s radial redefinition of \u201csex-based discrimination\u201d poses a threat to sex-based protections and welcomes males into female spaces including athletic competitions, locker rooms, and sex-specific clubs such as sororities, despite state laws.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe final regulations will help to ensure that all students receive appropriate support when they experience sex discrimination and that recipients\u2019 procedures for investigating and resolving complaints of sex discrimination are fair to all involved,\u201d the rules claim.<\/p>\n<p>The regulations do even more damage, however, such as by undoing Trump-era due process safeguards for those accused of sexual misconduct, which could include merely using accurate pronouns. They also encroach on parents\u2019 rights and threaten academic free speech by incentivizing schools to censor students and teachers with traditional views on sex and marriage so they don\u2019t lose federal funding.<\/p>\n<p>In the regulations, the Biden administration <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.ed.gov\/about\/offices\/list\/ocr\/docs\/t9-unofficial-final-rule-2024.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">openly admits<\/a> it relied on the Supreme Court\u2019s <em>Bostock v. Clayton County<\/em> decision to inform its rulemaking. In that case, Chief Justice Roberts and Justice Neil Gorsuch joined their Democrat-nominated colleagues to expand the prohibition against <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/judge-nominated-to-supreme-court-on-the-basis-of-her-sex-cant-define-woman\/\" title=\"Judge Nominated To Supreme Court On The Basis Of Her Sex Can\u2019t Define\u00a0\u2018Woman\u2019\">employment discrimination based<\/a> on \u201csex\u201d to include \u201csexual orientation\u201d and \u201cgender identity.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-74adf04ade1f42436d903e44f5ff3f0b fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-74adf04ade1f42436d903e44f5ff3f0b\"><\/div>\n<p>A draft of the rules released in June 2022 received a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iwf.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Title-IX-comments.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201crecord number\u201d of comments<\/a> from Americans warning that enacting such extensive provisions and redefining terms like \u201csexual harassment\u201d would bully schools into mandating the spread of radical gender ideology.<\/p>\n<p>In response to Biden\u2019s Department of Education ignoring some <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/UBuLj\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">240,000 comments<\/a>, \u201ca coalition of organizations\u201d including the Independent Women\u2019s Forum and<strong> <\/strong>Independent Women\u2019s Law Center are suing the administration, according to an IWF press release. In 2022 and 2023, those groups <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iwf.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/IWLC-and-IWF-Comment-Regarding-Implicaitons-of-the-Department-of-Educations-Proposed-Title-IX-Rule.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sent<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/iwlc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/FINAL-IWF-Title-IX-COMMENT-2-Due-Process-9-12-2022.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">legal<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/iwlc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/FINAL-IWF-Title-IX-Comment-4-Parental-Rights-9-12.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">policy<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/iwlc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/FINAL-IWF-Title-IX-Comment-1-Ad-Law-9-12.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">objections<\/a> to the new rule. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cTitle IX was designed to give women equal opportunities in academic settings. It forbids discrimination on the basis of \u2018sex,\u2019 which it affirms throughout the statute is binary and biological.
