On Friday, a judge ruled the city could cut the power to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tinhornflats.com\/\">Tinhorn Flats Saloon and Grill<\/a> because they continued to offer outdoor dining in defiance of a court order to shut down.<\/p>\n<p>The restaurant\u2019s attorney argued the city was shutting down a business and stripping its owners of their livelihood without sufficient notice. The city had revoked the bar\u2019s health and conditional use permit as well.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Update \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Burbank?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Burbank<\/a> Water &amp; Power disconnected electricity to Tinhorn Flats this morning.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Councilmember Nick Schultz (@NBCSchultz) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NBCSchultz\/status\/1370794853328506883?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 13, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The co-owners said this was just an example of government overreach.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s completely unconstitutional because this is not against the law to operate your business as you wish,\u201d Tinhorn Flats Saloon &amp; Grill co-owner Lucas Lepejian said. \u201cBut it is going against a silly mandate with no scientific proof.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CMX5y7vFPD5\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"13\">\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The city has called the Tinhorn a nuisance.
