(Brendan McDermid\/Pool Photo via AP)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Attorney Todd Blanche told Trump to stop using his phone, prompting the former president to tuck it into his pocket while looking annoyed, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/donald-trump\/live-blog\/trump-hush-money-trial-day-3-live-updates-rcna145936\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"according\">according<\/a> to NBC News.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly after Judge Juan Merchan took the bench at 9:24 a.m. local time, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2970425\/juror-dismissed-trump-trial-concerns-she-couldnt-be-impartial\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"one juror was excused\">one juror was excused<\/a> from duty after she expressed concerns about intimidation by the media.
