Kelly began the segment by quoting a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/why-this-average-american-is-voting-for-donald-trump\/\" title=\"Why This Average American Is Voting for Donald Trump\">social media post<\/a> by President Joe Biden, who <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/POTUS\/status\/1780354983457644819\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote<\/a> in part, \u201cEven if you\u2019re the best, women are not paid their fair share.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFirst of all, who the hell wants to hear from this White House \u2014 which is allowing and trying to make it more expansive for boys to play against girls in women\u2019s sports \u2014 about fairness, right?\u201d Kelly asked, before describing the controversy over Clark\u2019s four-year $338,000 contract compared to last year\u2019s NBA first-overall draft pick Victor Wembayana, who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/news\/sports\/gap-caitlin-clarks-wnba-salary-male-counterparts-draws-outrage-rcna148024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">signed<\/a> a four-year $55 million contract.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re not paying these guys in the NBA that much money because they love throwing their money away; they\u2019re paying it because that\u2019s how much money they\u2019re bringing in,\u201d Klavan said. \u201cThat\u2019s how capitalism works. If you\u2019re bringing in the money, you get paid for what you do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd listen, Caitlin Clark is a wonderful athlete,\u201d the Daily Wire host continued. \u201cIn fact, her college <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/los-angeles-county-orders-restaurants-to-keep-tvs-off-as-outdoor-dining-resumes-and-super-bowl-approaches\/\" title=\"Los Angeles County Orders Restaurants To Keep TVs Off As Outdoor Dining Resumes And Super Bowl Approaches\">championship game<\/a> was watched more than the men\u2019s championship game, and if she can do that in the WNBA, believe me, she\u2019ll be earning that kind of money when she re-negotiates her contract.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Klavan said that paying Clark similar to what NBA players make wouldn\u2019t work with the economics of the WNBA as the NBA brings in roughly 100x the revenue of the professional women\u2019s league. The author of \u201cThe House of Love and Death\u201d added that the debate over WNBA players\u2019 salaries highlights deep hypocrisy from the Left.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Left started out by saying to us, \u2018There\u2019s no difference between men and women.
