She allegedly sought benefits through\u2064 fraudulent means. Bauer countersued, claiming the accusations were false. Bauer released messages \u200bsuggesting consensual interactions.\u2064 Despite claims of an abortion,\u200c medical records don&#8217;t \u200bconfirm pregnancy. Multiple accusers\u2063 have emerged, with one case settled.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<figure>                         <\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>A woman who accused former MLB pitcher Trevor Bauer of sexual assault has been indicted by an Arizona grand jury on charges related to extortion and fraud. <\/p>\n<p>According to the indictment, which was filed Monday in Maricopa County Superior Court and quoted by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/story\/_\/id\/39958530\/trevor-bauer-accuser-indicted-fraud-arizona\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ESPN<\/a>, Darcy Adanna Esemonu \u201cknowingly did obtain a benefit from \u2026 Trevor Anthony Bauer by means of fraudulent pretenses, representation, promises, or material omissions.\u201d Esemonu was also charged regarding matters in which she \u201cknowingly did obtain or sought to obtain property or services\u201d via extortive methods from a separate individual unaffiliated with Bauer. <\/p>\n<p>Esemonu reportedly filed a lawsuit against Bauer in 2022, \u201calleging he sexually assaulted her in 2020, which led to an \u2018unplanned pregnancy,&#8217;\u201d according to ESPN. While Bauer disclosed in court filings that he and Esemonu had sexual relations, he maintained that it was \u201ca single sexual encounter\u201d and \u201cconsensual.\u201d Bauer then countersued for fraud, arguing Esemonu\u2019s accusations were false and represented an attempt to acquire money amid other sexual assault claims lodged against him.<\/p>\n<p>In a <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BauerOutage\/status\/1780338438794854527\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">video<\/a> published Tuesday on X, Bauer disclosed alleged <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bidens-staff-told-us-he-misspoke-joe-biden-confuses-his-agenda-in-60-minutes-interview-so-his-staff-steps-in-to-correct-the-record-video\/\" title=\"\"Biden's Staff Told Us He Misspoke\" - Joe Biden Confuses His Agenda in 60 Minutes Interview so His Staff Steps in to Correct the Record (VIDEO)\">text messages<\/a> from Esemonu indicating she was the one who initiated their encounter. Other messages Bauer says were from Esemonu that he included in the video ask the former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher, \u201ccan i sleep with you\u201d and \u201ci just want to sleep next to you again \u2014 i will be very quiet, promise.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt one point, she even requested a sample of my sperm so she could \u2018have my child\u2019 whenever she wanted to in the future,\u201d Bauer claimed. <\/p>\n<p>Bauer further contended that Esemonu demanded $3.6 million from him and \u201cclaimed I forced her to have an abortion\u201d and \u201cwhen I refused to pay her the $3.6 million she was asking for, she made up a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/woman-who-accused-trevor-bauer-of-sexual-assault-now-charged-with-extorting-him\/\" title=\"Woman who accused Trevor Bauer of sexual assault now facing extortion charges\">bogus sexual assault claim<\/a> and filed a civil suit against me.\u201d Police reports detailing law enforcement\u2019s interviews with Esemonu <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/story\/_\/id\/39958530\/trevor-bauer-accuser-indicted-fraud-arizona\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reportedly show<\/a> that she \u201cinitially stated she had a miscarriage, but later referred to the miscarriage as an abortion.\u201d Esemonu also told the detective on the case that \u201cshe did not have an abortion, but miscarried just before going to a clinic located in another state,\u201d according to ESPN. <\/p>\n<p>Despite her claims, the detective noted that Esemonu\u2019s medical records \u201cdo not indicate\u201d if she \u201cwas in fact pregnant.\u201d A screenshot of what appears to be negative results of a pregnancy test was included in Bauer\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BauerOutage\/status\/1780338438794854527\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">video<\/a>, which he claims is Esemonu\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>She never had an abortion \u201cbecause she was never even pregnant,\u201d Bauer claimed. <\/p>\n<p>Bauer\u2019s video also included alleged emails between Esemonu and various law firms, one of which informed Esemonu it \u201ccannot continue to represent [her]\u201d because she doesn\u2019t have \u201cproof of the abortion or even the date of the abortion.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>In addition to Esemonu, three other women have accused Bauer of sexual assault in recent years, including Lindsey Hill. As The Federalist previously <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/10\/04\/corrupt-media-declared-trevor-bauer-guilty-until-proven-innocent-and-ruined-his-life\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported<\/a>, Bauer and Hill settled in court late last year, at which point Bauer \u201creleased a series of text messages and video purportedly obtained in the discovery process that appear to exonerate him from wrongdoing.\u201d The alleged texts from Hill included in a video Bauer posted \u201cindicate Hill had planned to accuse Bauer of sexual misconduct prior to meeting him\u201d in order to obtain money from him. <\/p>\n<p>Despite his denial of the allegations and assertion that the encounters were consensual, the MLB suspended Bauer for 324 games in 2021. That was eventually reduced to 194 in December 2022. The Dodgers \u2014 which <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/05\/23\/the-anti-christian-los-angeles-dodgers-deserve-the-bud-light-treatment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">honored<\/a> an anti-Christian drag group at their 2023 summer \u201cpride\u201d game \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/story\/_\/id\/35393987\/los-angeles-dodgers-dfa-embattled-pitcher-trevor-bauer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">dropped<\/a> Bauer from their roster over the allegations in January 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Bauer\u2019s remaining accusers have so far not filed suits against the former MLB pitcher or participated in Esemonu\u2019s or Hill\u2019s respective lawsuits since publicly issuing their claims, according to Bauer. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt this point, I\u2019m not sure what else I can possibly do to prove my innocence in all this. I did not do what I was accused of,\u201d Bauer said. \u201cEvery institution that our society has entrusted to rule on issues like these, like courts, judges, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/georgia-secretary-of-state-investigating-voter-registration-group-run-by-democrat-raphael-warnock\/\" title=\"Georgia Secretary Of State Investigating Voter Registration Group Run By Democrat Raphael Warnock\">law enforcement officers<\/a>, prosecutors \u2014 they all agree with me. They\u2019ve rejected every single claim made against me. \u2026 If any evidence of any of these claims actually existed, I would\u2019ve been charged, or at the very least, arrested.
