These statements followed nationwide protests against Israel, sparked by recent events.\u200c Notable locations of \u2062road blockades included Chicago, San Francisco, and New York City. Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) \u200dtook to social media to showcase his \u200capproach to \u200bdealing with left-wing protesters obstructing traffic. He encouraged\u2063 individuals to actively address these situations by clearing the roadways. These comments came in the midst of widespread protests against Israel following recent events.
