The Heritage Foundation revealed this discovery, linking the organization\u2063 to \u200d<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/antifa-blm-vandalize-ice-building-burn-original-starbucks\/\" title=\"Antifa, BLM vandalize ICE building, burn original Starbucks\">left-wing groups<\/a>. Questions have arisen regarding the authenticity of the flyers, with claims of them being fake. The Resource Center&#8217;s ties to \u200ccertain non-profits and figures have also been highlighted.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<figure>                         <\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Flyers reportedly posted around a Resource Center Matamoros facility in Mexico encouraged illegal immigrants \u2014 who are not eligible to vote in the United States \u2014 to vote for President Joe Biden in November, according to The Heritage Foundation\u2019s Oversight Project. One of the organizations operating out of the Resource Center Matamoros (RCM) has ties to Biden\u2019s Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, whose articles of impeachment the U.S. House of Representatives delivered to the Senate Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>The flyers, which the Oversight Project <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/OversightPR\/status\/1780054306454167954\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">posted<\/a> photos of on X, read \u201cReminder to vote for President Biden when you are in the United States. We need another four years of his term to stay open.\u201d The Heritage Foundation said the flyers were first discovered by Muckraker but also confirmed to The Federalist that their own team had obtained a copy of one of the flyers \u201cinside the RCM office.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe flyer in the X thread is a direct scan of the one our folks obtained on-site inside the RCM office,\u201d a Heritage Foundation representative said. \u201cThe flyers were also posted all over the camp in the port-a-potties.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, others have raised questions about the flyer, including Fox News\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BillMelugin_\/status\/1780281200143409659\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bill Melugin<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am extremely skeptical of this. The flier appears to be a word for word Google Translate copy &#038; paste of a portion of the NGO\u2019s English website, with \u2018vote for Biden\u2019 randomly added in at the end, when it does not appear on the site,\u201d Melugin posted on X. \u201cThe translation is bad, then you have \u2018bienvenidos\u2019 spelled wrong and \u2018todos con Biden\u2019 added onto the flier with a Biden logo.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another social media user associated with a left-wing immigration group <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/thcartwright\/status\/1780240035150774620\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">claimed<\/a> to have spoken with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/just-in-floyd-county-georgia-terminates-election-director-after-statewide-audit-discovers-uncounted-votes\/\" title=\"JUST IN: Floyd County, Georgia Terminates Election Director After Statewide Audit Discovers Uncounted Votes\">executive director<\/a> of RCM and said the posters were \u201cTotally fake\u201d and \u201cMade up by two posers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It is unclear whether RCM authorized the posting of the flyers, but the Heritage Foundation told The Federalist that because they found flyers in the RCM office, they have \u201cevery reason to believe\u201d the flyer is from the organization. The Federalist reached out to RCM for more information but did not receive a response. <\/p>\n<p>The flyers \u201cappear to be handed out when illegal aliens use the RCM for assistance in coming to the USA,\u201d according to the Oversight Project. <\/p>\n<figure>\n<p><span><\/p>\n<blockquote data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<div lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<p>These flyers were discovered by <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/realmuckraker?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@realmuckraker<\/a> throughout the Resource Center Matamoras (RCM) location including on the walls of port-a-potties<\/p>\n<p>They also appear to be handed out when illegal aliens use the RCM for assistance in coming to the USA <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/hvlkwOI5Xs\">pic.twitter.com\/hvlkwOI5Xs<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u2014 Oversight Project (@OversightPR) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/OversightPR\/status\/1780054308568125854?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 16, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><\/span> <\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>RCM <a href=\"https:\/\/www.resourcecentermatamoros.com\/our-mission\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">says<\/a> it is \u201ca humanitarian organization that provides a safe space where refugees at the southern Texas-Mexico border can access legal and social support services.\u201d Its \u201c6-unit office complex\u201d hosts the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS), which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.resourcecentermatamoros.com\/new-page-3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">provides<\/a> \u201clegal assistance and assistance with obtaining formal documents for job search and integration into the city of Matamoros as [migrants] wait to access the asylum process in the US.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>RCM founder and executive director Gaby Zavala previously <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/OversightPR\/status\/1780054323055219155\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">worked<\/a> with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aclutx.org\/en\/news\/humans-border-gaby-zavala\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">La Union del Pueblo Entero<\/a> (LUPE)\u2013 a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/1757641\/top-biden-official-met-with-soros-activists-ahead-of-border-crisis-discussions-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">left-wing<\/a> organization that is partnered with the Open Society Institute, as pointed out by the Oversight Project.
