Legend, a critic of Trump, argued the former president is part of a two-tiered justice system but that it is one from which he is benefiting. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe is getting way more concessions than the average criminal defendant would get,\u201d Legend said in an upcoming interview with MSNBC\u2019s Jen Psaki. \u201cHe\u2019s getting delays, he\u2019s got access to all kinds of lawyers that are filing this and filing that, delaying every trial, and most people don\u2019t have access to that kind of lawyering, don\u2019t have access to the kind of concessions that the justice system will provide to you if you can afford it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In 2019, Legend stressed the need to vote Trump out of office, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2717986\/john-legend-goes-on-profanity-laced-rant-against-racist-piece-of-s-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>calling him \u201ca flaming racist\u201d and \u201ca piece of s***.\u201d<\/a> The singer\u2019s comments were made after Trump criticized the living conditions of Baltimore and said that then-Rep.
