Trump is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/manhattan-da-moves-to-stop-trump-from-looking-at-trial-documents-without-supervision\/\" title=\"Manhattan DA Moves To Stop Trump From Looking at Trial Documents Without Supervision\">facing 34 felony counts<\/a> of falsifying business records in New York, to which he has pled not guilty. (AP Photo\/Andrew Harnik)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cBut remember, President\u00a0Trump is not going to be able to get a fair jury and an impartial\u00a0jury in Manhattan, in New York City, because 70-plus\u00a0percent voted for Joe Biden in the 2020 election. President\u00a0Trump did a poll that suggested 61% of the residents of Manhattan, said that they thought he was guilty,\u201d Whitaker said. \u201cAnd I just don\u2019t\u00a0think that jury pool is gonna be very fair and impartial like he\u2019s entitled to under the Constitution.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure><\/figure>\n<p>Trump attempted to change the venue ahead of the trial but was denied by Judge Juan\u00a0Merchan. This judge, according to Whitaker, has proven to be \u201chostile\u201d to Trump with his political donations to Trump\u2019s opponent Joe Biden.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe should not expect to get many rulings, or if any, in\u00a0favor of President Trump. And remember, this case isn\u2019t about\u00a0the facts,\u201d Whitaker said. \u201cAnd as I laid out\u00a0earlier, this is not a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/analysis-twitter-has-legal-edge-in-deal-dispute-with-musk\/\" title=\"Analysis-Twitter has legal edge in deal dispute with Musk\">strong legal case<\/a>. The Federal Election\u00a0Commission has already said this isn\u2019t a violation of federal law.
