Simpson for being the real killer.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cYes,\u201d O\u2019Brien replied, and said <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">that \u201cthe head of the network at the time was tight with O.J.,\u201d without naming the executive.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" aria-describedby=\"sk-tooltip-9096\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1700760801843000&#038;usg=AOvVaw2PQrVSrJfhxNb4LcARqniG\">CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cDon Ohlmeyer?<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201d Tapper asked, to which the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/heres-the-bravest-part-of-bill-mahers-latest-anti-woke-attack\/\" title=\"Here\u2019s the Bravest Part of Bill Maher\u2019s Latest Anti-Woke Attack\">comedian laughed<\/a>, \u201cWho can remember these names.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cAnyway, water under the bridge,\u201d O\u2019Brien added. \u201cBut that was a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/huge-moment-for-freedom-uk-mandatory-vax-for-health-workers-set-to-be-scrapped-report\/\" title=\"'Huge Moment for Freedom' UK Mandatory Vax for Health Workers Set to be Scrapped - Report\">huge moment<\/a> in history, I think, of this country.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cIt was a, you know, massive \u2013 there have been many times in this country where we\u2019ve needed to stop and reassess where we are in our racial history, and where are we, what progress have we made, and that was one of those moments and it was such a watershed moment,\u201d O\u2019Brien continued.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tapper then asked O\u2019Brien if he was going to make a joke about Simpson, and he replied, \u201cI never make a joke about someone the day they pass.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The late-night talk show host wasn\u2019t the only one remembering Norm\u2019s jokes on Thursday, with clips of Macdonald going viral on social media about his cracks at \u201cThe Juice\u201d and saying that murder was \u201clegal in the state of California\u201d after Simpson\u2019s acquittal, Fox News noted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Despite the pro athlete being acquitted during the criminal trial, he was found liable for Brown Simpson and Goldman\u2019s deaths three years later in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/verdict-reached-in-e-jean-carroll-vs-trump-trial\/\" title=\"Carroll vs Trump Trial Verdict Reached.\">civil trial brought<\/a> by the victims\u2019 families and was ordered to pay more than $33 million in damages.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Simpson was later arrested in Las Vegas and charged with armed robbery and kidnapping in 2007. He was sentenced to 33 years in prison with a minimum of nine years without parole and was released in 2017 after serving that minimum.
