The increase includes production of \u2062advanced \u2062munitions and expanding troop numbers, indicating a concerning military resurgence.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p>General Christopher Cavoli, the head of U.S. European Command, warned this week that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/russia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Russia\u2019s<\/a> military has grown stronger and has recovered faster from its war in Ukraine than the U.S. thought was possible.<\/p>\n<p>Cavoli, who is also the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/which-american-presidents-served-in-the-military\/\" title=\"Which American Presidents Served In The Military?\">supreme allied commander<\/a> of Europe at the Western security alliance NATO, made the remarks Wednesday during a\u00a0House Armed Services hearing on National Security Challenges in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the help of the United States, and invaluable help from other allies and partners, Ukraine has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/100-days-attacks-protests-and-an-alleged-assassination-attempt-later-the-supreme-court-leaker-remains-unknown\/\" title=\"100 Days, Attacks, Protests, And An Alleged Assassination Attempt Later, The Supreme Court Leaker Remains Unknown\">inflicted significant damage<\/a> upon the Russian military,\u201d he said in his opening remarks. \u201cHowever, Russia relies on the mass and quantity available to a large country, and despite its military\u2019s evident deficiencies and dysfunctions, continues to pose an existential threat to Ukraine.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cavoli said that Russia has increased its production of long range precision munitions and has started to buy \u201cballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/can-russia-terror-bomb-its-way-to-victory-in-ukraine\/\" title=\"Can Russia Terror Bomb Its Way to Victory in Ukraine?\">long-range drones<\/a> from third countries who were previously outside this fight.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn fact, it is mainly only in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/adm-davidson-thaad-not-enough-to-contain-chinese-aggression\/\" title=\"Adm. Davidson: THAAD not enough to contain Chinese aggression\">land forces<\/a> that Russia has suffered, losing over 2,000 tanks and 315,000 soldiers wounded or dead,\u201d he said. \u201cHowever, Russia is reconstituting that force far faster than our initial estimates suggested. The army is actually now larger \u2013 by 15 percent \u2013 than it was when it invaded Ukraine. Over the past year, Russia increased its front line troop strength from 360,000 to 470,000. Russia\u2019s army increased the upper age limit for conscription from 27 to 30, which increases the pool of available military conscripts by 2 million for years to come.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said that Russia is planning \u201can ambitious ground forces restructure\u201d in which they want to drastically increase the size of their military and base many of the new forces \u201cin Russian-occupied areas of Ukraine, as well as Karelia in the High North, opposite Finland.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" aria-describedby=\"sk-tooltip-9096\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1700760801843000&#038;usg=AOvVaw2PQrVSrJfhxNb4LcARqniG\">CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cPerhaps most concerning, the Russian military in the past year has shown an accelerating ability to learn and adapt to battlefield challenges both tactically and technologically, and has become a learning organization that little resembles the chaotic force that invaded Ukraine two years ago,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn sum, Russia is on track to command the largest military on the continent and a defense industrial complex capable of generating substantial amounts of ammunition and materiel in support of large scale combat operations,\u201d he said. \u201cRegardless of the outcome of the war in Ukraine, Russia will be larger, more lethal, and angrier with the West than when it invaded.
