Rowling<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  indicated that she would not forgive the actors who starred in the film adaptations of her best<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/our-favorite-entertainment-stories-of-january-2024\/\" title=\"Top Entertainment Stories from January 2024\">-selling book series<\/a> for their comments in favor of \u201c<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/transgender\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">trans rights<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The 58-year-old <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/entertainment\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">author<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  has become an outspoken critic of the radical trans agenda, specifically as it relates to women being protected in society.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Most recently, Rowling <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jk_rowling\/status\/1778105223728255439\">shared<\/a> her concerns about the medical transitioning of children who believed they were transgender by posting a lengthy thread on X. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">One of Rowling\u2019s followers responded to the thread, writing, \u201cJust waiting for Dan and Emma to give you a very public apology \u2026 safe in the knowledge that you will forgive them \u2026 \u201c<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Rowling <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jk_rowling\/status\/1778124467027267804\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">replied<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, \u201cNot safe, I\u2019m afraid. Any statement to the contrary erases the identity and dignity of transgender people and goes against all advice given by professional healthcare associations who have far more expertise on this subject matter than either Jo [Rowling] or [me],\u201d the actor said at the time in a lengthy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetrevorproject.org\/blog\/daniel-radcliffe-responds-to-j-k-rowlings-tweets-on-gender-identity\/\">essay<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cTo all the people who now feel that their experience of the books has been tarnished or diminished, I am deeply sorry for the pain these comments have caused you. I really hope that you don\u2019t entirely lose what was valuable in these stories to you.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Radcliffe specifically voiced his support for trans youth transitioning while moderating an episode of \u201cSharing Spaces,\u201d a roundtable series produced by the activist organization The Trevor Project.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cThere are some people in the world who are not trying to engage with this conversation in any kind of good faith.
