Schumer explained that the plan would apply to \u201cboth <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/5-financial-bubbles-that-made-gamestop-look-like-nothing\/\" title=\"5 Financial \u2018Bubbles\u2019 That Made Gamestop Look Like Nothing\">middle-class people<\/a> and working people but particularly people of color, many of whose parents didn\u2019t go to college; they got taken advantage of by some of the colleges particularly some of the for-profit ones.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s a lot of people,\u201d Warren said. \u201cThat is four Massachusettses.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd four New York Cities \u2014 even better,\u201d Schumer quipped.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s also going to be a lot of people who don\u2019t have diplomas,\u201d Warren said. \u201cPeople who started and tried and life happened. You know, they had babies. They had jobs. Other people got sick.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Warren, 74, attended George Washington University when tuition cost $50 a semester.
