Ivy \u200cLeague institutions like Harvard and Princeton \u2062received an &#8220;F,&#8221; while schools such as MIT, Stanford, and others\u2064 were \u2062also rated poorly. Rosenfeld\/Getty Images)\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span>The Anti-Defamation League on Thursday gave many elite American universities failing grades on their campus climate of anti-Semitism.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The ADL\u2019s Campus Anti-Semitism Report Card <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adl.org\/campus-antisemitism-report-card\"><span>shows<\/span><\/a><span>  an &#8220;F&#8221; grade was handed to two Ivy League universities\u2014Harvard University and Princeton University\u2014along with other <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/tony-chicago-school-promotes-teacher-with-history-of-slanderous-comments-to-lead-diversity-and-inclusion-efforts\/\" title=\"Tony Chicago School Promotes Teacher With History Of Slanderous Comments To Lead Diversity And Inclusion Efforts\">elite schools<\/a> such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University, the University of Chicago, and the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The remaining Ivy League schools fared only slightly better, with Yale University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Brown University, and the University of Pennsylvania receiving a &#8220;D&#8221; and Dartmouth College earning a &#8220;C.&#8221; <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Three top public universities\u2014the University of California, Berkeley; the University of California, Los Angeles; and the University of Michigan\u2014also received a &#8220;D&#8221; grade, according to ADL\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-china-going-to-eat-our-lunch-2019-candidate-biden-eat-our-lunch-cmon-man\/\" title=\"Biden: China \u2018Going To Eat Our Lunch.\u2019 2019 Candidate Biden: \u2018Eat Our Lunch? C\u2019mon, Man!\u2019\">report card<\/a>, whose goal is to &#8220;serve students and their families looking for information about the current state of antisemitism on campus and how particular universities and colleges are responding.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Harvard, MIT, and Penn came under scathing scrutiny late last year after their presidents <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/latest-news\/watch-mit-penn-harvard-presidents-say-calls-for-jewish-genocide-do-not-violate-code-of-conduct\/\"><span>testified<\/span><\/a><span>  in Congress that calling for the genocide of Jews would not necessarily violate their schools\u2019 code of conduct. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Rep. Elise Stefanik (R., N.Y.), who had asked whether calling for a Jewish genocide would violate the schools\u2019 policies, condemned Claudine Gay of Harvard, Sally Kornbluth of MIT, and Liz Magill of Penn, saying all three <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/harvard-president-retroactively-edits-her-work-after-plagiarism-accusations-makes-telling-changes\/\" title=\"Harvard President edits work after plagiarism claims, makes significant changes\">university presidents gave<\/a> &#8220;unacceptable answers across the board.&#8221;<\/span>\t<\/p>\n<p><span>Magill <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/campus\/one-down-two-to-go-upenns-liz-magill-resigns-in-disgrace\/\"><span>resigned<\/span><\/a><span>  shortly after her testimony, while Gay managed to fend off initial pressure but later also <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/campus\/harvard-president-claudine-gay-resigns-in-disgrace-amid-plagiarism-anti-semitism-scandals\/\"><span>stepped down<\/span><\/a><span>  after allegations of plagiarism in her academic work surfaced. Gay&#8217;s resignation came less than a day after <\/span><span>the<\/span><i><span>  Washington Free Beacon<\/span><\/i> <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/campus\/harvard-president-claudine-gay-hit-with-six-new-charges-of-plagiarism\/\"><span>reported<\/span><\/a><span>  on a series of bombshell allegations of plagiarism against her.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>College campuses across the United States have seen a surge in anti-Semitism since the war in Gaza began following Hamas\u2019s Oct. 7 terrorist attack on Israel. In late November, nearly three-quarters of Jewish college students <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/news\/us-news\/73-jewish-college-students-experienced-seen-antisemitism-start-school-rcna127014\"><span>said<\/span><\/a><span>  they had experienced or witnessed anti-Semitism on campus since the start of the 2023-2024 academic year, according to a poll by the ADL and Hillel International. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Anti-Defamation League recently rated numerous prestigious American universities poorly for their handling of anti-Semitism on campus.
