Senator \u2064Dan \u200cSullivan (R-AK) recently grilled officials in a Senate Armed Services \u200cCommittee hearing regarding President Joe Biden&#8217;s lack of action against an Iranian spy ship supporting a terrorist group targeting\u200c US ships in the Red Sea. Dan Sullivan (R-AK) grilled officials this week during a hearing about why President Joe Biden was not targeting an Iranian spy ship that is providing intelligence to a terrorist group that is trying to sink American ships in the Red Sea.<\/p>\n<p>Sullivan made the remarks during a hearing in the Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC) about the Iranian-backed Houthis, who have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/sen-bill-hagerty-says-us-is-sending-mixed-messages-to-israel\/\" title=\"Sen. Hagerty criticizes US for conflicting messages to Israel\">launched numerous attacks<\/a> over the last five months, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/u-s-destroys-nearly-a-dozen-terrorist-drones-launched-in-middle-east\">this week<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that the commander of U.S. Central Command said recently that he believed that Iran was not paying any cost for the terrorism that its proxies facilitate in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Sullivan noted that Iran has facilitated the attacks in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-failing-on-world-stage-cargo-ship-could-sink-after-houthi-attack-u-s-drone-downed-u-s-cargo-ship-hit\/\" title=\"Biden's World Stage Failure: Cargo Ship at Risk, Drone Downed, Cargo Ship Struck\">providing targeting information<\/a> to the Houthis.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy are we not sinking Iranian warships, intel ships that are providing targeting intel to kill Marines and sailors from Alaska or North Dakota?\u201d he asked. \u201cI mean, I find this outrageous. Why are we not doing that? Why are we not telling the Iranians, overtly or covertly, next time you send intel to target an American warship through the Houthis, we will sink your ships? Why are we not doing that? That\u2019s so basic to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin acknowledged that \u201cIran needs to be held accountable for what it\u2019s doing, continues to do\u201d but also said, \u201cattacking Iran is a different issue.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General C.Q.
