This is getting spicy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Brazil and Musk reportedly were at an impasse over a Brazilian court order to block certain accounts on X. The situation intensified over the weekend when Brazil Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes launched an inquiry into Musk after the social media platform owner stated he would reactivate accounts on X that Moraes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/technology\/musk-challenges-brazils-order-block-certain-x-accounts-2024-04-07\/\">previously ordered blocked. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>Musk first posted about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/facebook-suspends-marjorie-taylor-greene-for-24-hours\/\" title=\"Facebook Suspends Marjorie Taylor Greene For 24 Hours\">account restrictions<\/a> in Brazil over the weekend. Initially little was known about which accounts were being blocked in the country, or why such action was being taken. <\/p>\n<p>Then, X Corp. announced on Saturday that they were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/technology\/x-challenges-brazils-forced-order-block-certain-accounts-2024-04-07\/\">\u201cforced by court decisions\u201d<\/a> in Brazil to block accounts and were not allowed to provide information regarding the decision. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cX Corp. has been forced by court decisions to block certain popular accounts in Brazil. We have informed those accounts that we have taken this action,\u201d the corporation\u2019s Global<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/globalaffairs\/status\/1776729732970594483?s=46&#038;t=RFIn7cv4CDYnUFuPU9wtaA\"> Government Affairs Account<\/a> posted on the platform on Saturday.<\/p>\n<figure>\n<div>\n<blockquote data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<div lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<p>X Corp. has been forced by court decisions to block certain popular accounts in Brazil.
