Rice, 23, is a wide receiver for the Chiefs and won the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/super-bowl\/\" title>Super Bowl<\/a> with the team in February. <\/p>\n<p>The Dallas Police Department\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kmbc.com\/article\/arrest-warrant-issued-for-kansas-city-chiefs-wide-receiver-rashee-rice\/60458858#:~:text=ABC%20affiliate%20WFAA.-,Dallas%20police%20confirm%20Rice%20faces%20eight%20charges%20in%20the%20case,%2C%2021%2C%20also%20faces%20charges.\" title>investigation<\/a> into the crash revealed that Rice, who was driving a Lamborghini, and another man, who was driving a Corvette, were speeding on U.S. Highway 75 in Dallas. The two <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/video-christmas-stunt-goes-horribly-wrong-as-tragedy-strikes-in-front-of-young-children\/\" title=\"Video: Christmas Stunt Turns Tragic in Front of Kids\">men lost control<\/a> of their cars and crashed into other drivers on the highway, resulting in a string of collisions that included four additional vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, law enforcement officials claimed that a video from a witness showed the drivers and others in the cars at the time of the accident, all fleeing from the scene. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe occupants of the Lamborghini and the Corvette all ran from the scene without stopping to determine if anyone needed medical help or providing their information,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcdfw.com\/news\/local\/rashee-rice-arrest-warrant-dallas-crash\/3511545\/\">Dallas Police said.<\/a> \u201cTwo of the involved drivers were treated at the scene by Dallas Fire-Rescue for minor injuries and two occupants of another vehicle were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rice faces eight charges, including six counts of a collision involving injury, one count of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/mother-of-ahmaud-arbery-files-civil-lawsuit-on-anniversary-of-sons-killing\/\" title=\"Mother Of Ahmaud Arbery Files Civil Lawsuit On Anniversary Of Son\u2019s Killing\">aggravated assault<\/a>, and one count of collision involving bodily injury, according to multiple reports. He issued a statement earlier in April claiming responsibility for his role in the accident. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday, I met with Dallas PD investigators regarding Saturday\u2019s accident,\u201d Rice said. \u201cI take full responsibility for my part in this matter and will continue to cooperate with the necessary authorities.
