During a press conference, he emphasized Florida&#8217;s commitment to \u200dprotecting children and announced the implementation of new legislation, including bills addressing grooming activities,\u2062 online sting operations targeting\u200c predators, and stricter guidelines for sex offenders.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p>Florida Governor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/ron-desantis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ron DeSantis<\/a> signed several pieces of legislation into law this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/new-liberal-truth-brigade-has-ties-to-billionaire-who-peddled-disinformation\/\" title=\"New Liberal \u2018Truth Brigade\u2019 Has Ties to Billionaire Who Peddled Disinformation\">week aimed<\/a> at protecting children from sex predators and enhancing penalties for other sexual crimes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn Florida, we let kids be kids, and we protect children from those who seek to harm them,\u201d DeSantis said at a press conference. \u201cToday\u2019s anti-grooming legislation punishes those who seek to prey on children and rob them of their innocence.
