It stipulates\u200b that only\u2063 U.S. citizens over 18 \u200cresiding in Missouri can\u2063 vote and mandates paper or mechanical voting methods. Furthermore, voters shall only be entitled to one vote for each issue on the ballot and the same amount of votes for each office as there are seats to be filled at the election. Under no circumstance shall a voter be permitted to cast a ballot in a manner that results in the ranking of candidates for a particular office.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cThe candidate that receives the greatest number of votes in a political party primary shall be the only candidate for that political party at the general election,\u201d the bill continues. \u201cThe name of such candidate shall be placed on the official ballot at the general election, unless removed or replaced as provided by law.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cEspecially at a time when illegal aliens are flooding our country at historic levels, it\u2019s incumbent upon lawmakers to protect the right to vote and ensure that only U.S. citizens decide the outcome of U.S. elections,\u201d former Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli stated, <a href=\"https:\/\/electiontransparency.org\/2024\/04\/09\/missouri-senate-passes-constitutional-amendment-banning-foreign-citizen-voting-ranked-choice-voting-house-must-follow-suit\/\">according<\/a> to the Election Transparency Initiative. \u201cAll the while, anti-Election Integrity megadonors are financing a nationwide campaign to promote the disastrous Ranked-Choice Voting scheme intended to cement Left-wing power for generations to come\u2014it must always be rejected.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cYear after year, Missouri has been targeted by the Left in their goal to overthrow elections,\u201d\u00a0Spencer Bone, the Executive Director of Liberty Alliance USA, stated. \u201cThe Left-wing activists pushing both ranked-choice and noncitizen voting want to dismantle the political party system, so Conservatives NEVER have a voice. The Senate has delivered, now it\u2019s time for the House to do the same. Instead, it will cause them. It will create confusion with voters, make it harder on election officials to do their job, and ensure that election results are difficult to understand and trust.
