Law enforcement organizations have\u200c expressed \u200bconcerns over what they perceive as \u2063bias against police\u2063 and \u2062crime victims in Mangi&#8217;s legal history.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p>Controversial left-wing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/joe-biden\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biden<\/a> judicial nominee Adeel Mangi is facing new obstacles to becoming confirmed after a new report this week revealed that he served on the board of a legal organization that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/embattled-biden-judicial-nominee-adeel-mangi-served-on-legal-aid-society-board-as-it-defended-notorious-cop-killers\/\" title=\"Controversial Biden judicial pick Adeel Mangi sat on Legal Aid Society board during defense of infamous cop killers\">defended notorious cop killers<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Free Beacon <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/embattled-biden-judicial-nominee-adeel-mangi-served-on-legal-aid-society-board-as-it-defended-notorious-cop-killers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> that Mangi served on the board at the Legal Aid Society, which says its board of directors \u201cprovide crucial guidance that strengthens\u201d it\u2019s legal work.<\/p>\n<p>Mangi\u2019s nomination is in serious peril as multiple Democrat senators have signaled that they will not vote for him due to accusations that he faces, including anti-Semitism, having connections to an organization that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/another-democrat-senator-opposes-extremist-biden-nominee-adeel-mangi-as-white-house-throws-hail-mary\/\" title=\"One more Democratic senator rejects Biden nominee Adeel Mangi as White House makes a last-ditch effort\">featured pro-terrorist speakers<\/a>, and showing an \u201canti-victim and anti-police\u201d bias in his legal work.<\/p>\n<p>Mangi served on the Legal Aid Society\u2019s board from December 2016 until November 2021, the report said. During that time, the group represented a Black Liberation Army duo who murdered a pair of New York City police officers in 1971.<\/p>\n<p>The group secured parole for one of the killers while keeping the other killer from having his parole revoked, the report said.<\/p>\n<p>Herman Bell and Jalil Muntaqim murdered two New York City police officers in May 1971 after baiting them into a trap with a fake 911 call. Several months later, they murdered a San Francisco police officer inside a police station.<\/p>\n<p>Republican senators have highlighted activity that occurred at the Center for Security, Race, and Rights at Rutgers Law School while Mangi served on the group\u2019s advisory board from 2019 to 2023.
