Federal employees \u2062at the Department of\u2062 the Interior marked the\u200d &#8220;2023 Ally Awards&#8221; by reciting a moving poem that highlighted diversity, equity, and\u200d inclusion (DEI). The video of\u200c this touching moment, shared by\u200b Matt Walsh from the Daily Wire, showcased the employees&#8217; commitment to supporting diversity\u2064 and inclusion, stirring\u2063 emotions within the audience.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p>Federal bureaucrats from the Department of the Interior recorded themselves celebrating the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) agenda with a poetry recital that brought at least one government official to tears.<\/p>\n<p>Video obtained by Daily Wire host Matt Walsh shows <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/white-house-releases-list-of-president-trumps-accomplishments-and-it-is-historic\/\" title=\"White House Releases List of President Trump\u2019s Accomplishments \u2013  And It Is Historic!\">federal employees<\/a> attending the federal agency\u2019s \u201c2023 Ally Awards,\u201d where bureaucrats were recognized for their support of the DEI agenda. At the end of the virtual award ceremony, a presenter announced that employees of the agency had recorded a video of themselves reciting a poem.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow we would like to share a poem entitled \u2018I am Diversity,\u2019\u201d a presenter said. \u201cIt really resonates with us and it incorporates a lot of the themes we learned about this week.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m present in every place you go. Depending on your lens, I\u2019m friend or foe,\u201d the bureaucrats say at the opening of the poem.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDon\u2019t exclude me due to a lack of knowledge. Welcome me like the recruit fresh out of college,\u201d read one line of the poem. \u201cLet me take a seat at the table, even though I may be differently able.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I\u2019ve just obtained footage of a &#8220;diversity poem reading&#8221; from a recent DEI \u201cAlly Awards\u201d show at the Department of Interior. I\u2019m diversity, include me and we\u2019ll reach the shining star,\u201d the rhyming poem went on to say.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not crying, you\u2019re crying,\u201d the host of the ceremony said after the poem had completed.<\/p>\n<p>The recitation of the poem is just one of the many examples of the DOI pushing a leftwing ideological agenda. The Daily Wire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/biden-admin-celebrates-trans-day-of-visibility-by-screening-movie-pushing-for-more-queer-marine-biologists\">reported<\/a> last week that the agency celebrated \u201cTransgender Day of Visibility\u201d by screening a documentary on queer representation in the field of marine biology.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTransgender Day of Visibility is an internationally recognized event that is celebrated annually on March 31st to help raise awareness and increase understanding of the challenges, importance and struggles of our transgender, non-binary and gender non-conforming communities,\u201d an internal email from the DOI reads.<\/p>\n<p>The federal bureaucracy has been leveraged to push the DEI agenda as the Biden administration has worked to embed leftwing ideology throughout the government through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/presidential-actions\/2021\/06\/25\/executive-order-on-diversity-equity-inclusion-and-accessibility-in-the-federal-workforce\/\">executive orders<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Former President Donald Trump has pledged that he will gut the federal bureaucracy through executive orders of his own which aim to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-moves-to-strengthen-bureaucrat-protections-as-trump-pledges-to-gut-administrative-state\/\" title=\"Biden boosts bureaucrat protections, Trump vows to shrink government\">remove civil service protections<\/a> from bureaucrats who occupy a position that impacts policymaking. \u201cWe will pass critical reforms making every <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/donald-trump-we-must-make-every-executive-branch-employee-fireable-by-potus\/\" title=\"Donald Trump: We Must Make 'Every Executive Branch Employee Fireable' by POTUS\">executive branch employee fireable<\/a> by the President of the United States,\u201d Trump said at a rally, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.govexec.com\/workforce\/2022\/03\/trump-threatening-return-and-expansion-schedule-f\/363145\/\">touting<\/a> the plan. \u201cThe deep state must be brought to heel.<\/p>\n<p>Biden hopes to preempt this move and recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/biden-moves-to-strengthen-bureaucrat-protections-as-trump-pledges-to-gut-administrative-state\">implemented a policy<\/a> intended to strengthen the civil service protections enjoyed by federal bureaucrats.
