While the 2022 law was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipsos.com\/en-us\/news-polls\/americans-support-inflation-reduction-act-measures\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>popular<\/a> among U.S. voters at the time, many aren\u2019t seeing the value of Biden\u2019s green <a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/government-spending\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>spending<\/a> spree.<\/p>\n<p>In light of poor economic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/poll-trump-leads-biden-economy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>polling<\/a> figures, the Biden administration has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/statements-releases\/2023\/08\/16\/fact-sheet-one-year-in-president-bidens-inflation-reduction-act-is-driving-historic-climate-action-and-investing-in-america-to-create-good-paying-jobs-and-reduce-costs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>highlighted<\/a> job creation, reduced costs for families, and the simplification of the tax code as benefits of the law. Yet, <a href=\"https:\/\/climatecommunication.yale.edu\/publications\/climate-change-in-the-american-mind-politics-policy-fall-2023\/toc\/7\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>less<\/a> than half the public thinks it will help them or the country. Over 40% report having heard \u201cnothing at all\u201d about the legislation, and only 12% say they have heard \u201ca lot\u201d about it. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe community and the population doesn\u2019t know about them, so it seems like nothing is being done,\u201d Rebekah Pike, a 38-year-old undecided voter in Bay City, Michigan, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/politics\/elections\/biden-is-spending-1-trillion-to-fight-climate-change-voters-dont-care-21d8cb05?mod=hp_lead_pos3\">told<\/a> the <em>Wall Street Journal<\/em>. Despite <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/elon-musk-i-got-a-covid-test-four-times-in-one-day-two-came-back-negative-two-came-back-positive-the-daily-wire\/\" title=\"Elon Musk: I Got A COVID Test Four Times In One Day. \u2018Two Came Back Negative, Two Came Back Positive.\u2019 | The Daily Wire\">climate change<\/a> being one of the most important issues to her, Pike hadn\u2019t even heard of Biden\u2019s climate policies.<\/p>\n<p>The Biden campaign has targeted the youth vote with climate initiatives, but a <em>Wall Street Journal<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/s.wsj.net\/public\/resources\/documents\/WSJ_Swing_States_Partial_March_2024.pdf\">poll<\/a> revealed that just 3% of voters ages 18-34 in seven swing states make climate change their top priority, compared to 2% of voters in general. It showed that by and large, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/democrat-strategist-carville-our-numbers-are-horrifying-with-young-men\/\" title=\"Democratic strategist Carville expressed concern over the alarming statistics among young men in our party\">young voters care<\/a> more about the economy, inflation, and immigration.<\/p>\n<p>On top of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-working-class-gop-a-muddled-concept\/\" title=\"The Working-Class GOP: A Muddled Concept\">economic concerns<\/a>, many young voters in left-leaning college towns are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/news\/democrats-rely-college-towns-win-170748388.html\">breaking<\/a> with Biden over his handling of the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza. College campuses are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/education\/2935986\/government-can-step-in-as-campus-antisemitism-reaches-defcon-1-experts\/\">hotbeds<\/a> for anti-Israel demonstrations, initiatives, and hostilities, and the president has spoken of his \u201cunwavering\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/statements-releases\/2023\/10\/07\/statement-from-president-joe-biden-condemning-terrorist-attacks-in-israel\/#:~:text=My%20Administration's%20support%20for%20Israel's,those%20who%20have%20been%20wounded.\">support<\/a> of the Jewish state following the Oct. 7 attack, even if that support has wavered in recent weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Private groups, political philanthropists, and super PACs are spending hundreds of millions on climate initiatives and progressive campaigns this election cycle. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2023\/10\/16\/politics\/climate-power-biden-campaign-ads\/index.html#:~:text=Advocacy%20group%20Climate%20Power%20is,climate%20and%20clean%20energy%20agenda.\">Climate Power<\/a> will spend $80 million, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.barrons.com\/articles\/how-wealthy-donors-are-spurring-the-energy-transition-to-benefit-communities-and-workers-2b0dc926\">Invest in Our Future<\/a> brings another $240 million in funding commitments, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/policy\/energy-environment\/4542873-climate-org-puts-money-2024-election\/\">League of Conservation Voters<\/a> plans to spend $120 million.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg will additionally spend $200 million to help 25 cities tap into emissions-based federal funding opportunities.
