There are pending legal \u2064actions between Majors and Jabbari.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Marvel star <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/actor-jonathan-majors-speaks-out-for-first-time-following-guilty-verdict-in-assault-trial\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Jonathan Majors<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  was sentenced to complete a 52-week <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">domestic violence counseling program on Monday, avoiding <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">prison time after being convicted of assaulting his ex-girlfriend<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Grace Jabbari.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Judge Michael Gaffey sentenced the 34-year-old actor to conditional discharge, noting that Majors had no <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/illegal-alien-arrested-for-violent-carjackings-shooting-16-year-old-boy\/\" title=\"Illegal Alien Arrested for Violent Carjackings, Shooting 16-Year-Old Boy\">prior criminal record<\/a> and that both sides agreed the charges didn\u2019t warrant jail time, the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/jonathan-majors-assault-sentencing-marvel-new-york-24212fa7708d397452d44f9cbc9fb127\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Associated Press<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  reported.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Last year, a Manhattan jury found Majors <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">guilty of two misdemeanor assault counts<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/04\/08\/nyregion\/jonathan-majors-sentencing.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">New York Times<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  reported.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The judge said Majors must complete an in-person batterers intervention program and continue with mental health therapy. If he violates those terms, the actor could face a year behind bars. According to his attorney, Majors did not want to make a statement because of a pending civil suit Jabbari filed against him last month. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Jabbari claimed Majors demonstrated a \u201c<\/span>pattern of pervasive domestic abuse that began in 2021 and extended through 2023,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/jonathan-majors-escapes-jail-time-after-conviction-8625372?hid=4f90b78dc31e627328d98338e1fa49d03b364abc&#038;did=12573176-20240408&#038;utm_source=ppl&#038;utm_medium=email&#038;utm_campaign=people-news_newsletter&#038;utm_content=040824&#038;lctg=4f90b78dc31e627328d98338e1fa49d03b364abc&#038;lr_input=a08f4ce0dc67f7e22d138c82b9ce538ad294bfaca0b145e2f563962e58e05ef7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">People magazine<\/a> noted. His lawyer said, \u201cThis is no surprise. Mr. Majors is preparing counterclaims against Ms. Jabbari.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Majors is \u201ccommitted to growing as a person\u201d and will complete any court-mandated programs \u201cwith an open heart,\u201d Priya Chaudhry, his attorney, reportedly said.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In January, Majors spoke to ABC\u2019s \u201c<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ce4rYGAXLvA\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Good Morning America\u201d<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  following the reckless assault conviction and said that he \u201cfelt like it was time\u201d to tell his side of the story following the domestic dispute with Jabbari, adding that \u201ca lot has happened\u201d in his \u201cpersonal life\u201d and \u201ccareer.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Majors <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/GMA\/status\/1744353537536987553?s=20\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">denied<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  he physically assaulted Jabbari when asked if he was responsible for any of her injuries, a fractured finger and cut behind her ear.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" aria-describedby=\"sk-tooltip-9096\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1700760801843000&#038;usg=AOvVaw2PQrVSrJfhxNb4LcARqniG\">CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cI was reckless with her heart, not with her body,\u201d Majors replied. \u201cI should have been brave. I should have said, \u2018No, this isn\u2019t working.\u2019 And I should have walked away, and I didn\u2019t\u2026If I leave the relationship, none of this is happening.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">When pressed about how Jabbari got the injuries, Majors said he had no idea.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cI wish to God I knew,\u201d Majors said. \u201cThat would give clarity. That would give me some type of peace about it. [I] never hit a woman.
