Usually it works the other way around. Canada doesn\u2019t place any restrictions whatsoever on abortion, for example. The government will actually pay its citizens to kill their children at any point in a mother\u2019s pregnancy. But in the U.S., in many states at least, there are some limits on that kind of barbarism.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Meanwhile in Europe, as I <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/episode\/ep-1340-the-euthanasia-business-is-booming-as-western-civilization-gives-up-on-itself\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">discussed<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  yesterday, there\u2019s an extremely permissive attitude toward euthanasia. It\u2019s easy for young adults to get their doctors to kill them in The Netherlands, even when they don\u2019t have any kind of terminal illness. But in the U.S., killing patients for no reason is still frowned upon by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/60-minutes-runs-explosive-segment-featuring-young-transgender-individuals-who-decided-to-reverse-course\/\" title=\"60 Minutes Runs Explosive Segment Featuring Young Transgender Individuals Who Decided To Reverse Course\">major medical associations<\/a>. For now, anyway.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">So in general, we\u2019re more restrictive when it comes to most immoral and unethical medical procedures. Canada and Europe take the opposite approach.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But there is one glaring exception to this rule. And it concerns commercial surrogacy, or the act of paying a woman to carry someone else\u2019s baby, usually via in vitro fertilization (IVF). This is distinct from so-called \u201caltruistic surrogacy,\u201d where there\u2019s no profit motive. Yet still nearly as many ethical problems, despite the name. Commercial surrogacy is legally <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/europeanconservative.com\/articles\/news\/eu-parliament-designates-surrogacy-as-human-trafficking\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">equated<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  with human trafficking by the E.U., because it provides significant financial incentives for women to rent out their body to strangers. So they ban it. The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/health-canada\/services\/drugs-health-products\/biologics-radiopharmaceuticals-genetic-therapies\/legislation-guidelines\/assisted-human-reproduction\/prohibitions-related-surrogacy.html#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">same is true<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  in Canada.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It\u2019s not true in the United States, however. This week, the state of Michigan <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.michigan.gov\/whitmer\/news\/press-releases\/2024\/04\/01\/whitmer-signs-bills-decriminalizing-surrogacy-and-protecting-ivf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">became<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  the last state in the union to decriminalize commercial surrogacy. In other words, in all 50 states, you can now rent a woman\u2019s body and use it to carry your child, without suffering any criminal penalties.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">That seems like it can\u2019t possibly be true, but it is, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.michigan.gov\/whitmer\/news\/press-releases\/2024\/04\/01\/whitmer-signs-bills-decriminalizing-surrogacy-and-protecting-ivf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">according<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  to Michigan\u2019s governor. Her office put out a statement saying that Michigan had been \u201cthe only state in the nation to criminalize surrogacy contracts.\u201d To be clear, there are still <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.circlesurrogacy.com\/resources\/surrogacy-by-states#:~:text=Are%20Surrogates%20Legal%20in%20Every,considered%20legal%3A%20Nebraska%20and%20Louisiana.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">several states<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  that say they won\u2019t enforce commercial surrogacy agreements, but broad criminal bans don\u2019t apply, as far as I can tell.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/episode\/ep-1341-viral-video-reveals-the-true-dehumanizing-horror-of-surrogacy-member-exclusive\">WATCH: The Matt Walsh Show<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">That\u2019s extremely good news for the surrogacy industry, which is worth around fourteen billion dollars as of 2022. By 2033, analysts expect the surrogacy industry will <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/spectrumlocalnews.com\/nc\/charlotte\/news\/2023\/09\/12\/surrogacy-on-the-rise-#:~:text=Global%20Market%20Insights%20estimates%20the,related%20to%20for%20another%20person\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">explode in value<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  to $129 billion \u2014 an increase of about 900% in just a decade. For perspective, the global weight loss market \u2014 which is obviously gigantic, no pun intended \u2014 is <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grandviewresearch.com\/industry-analysis\/weight-management-market#:~:text=The%20global%20weight%20management%20market,9.94%25%20from%202023%20to%202030.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">valued<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  around $140 billion. So we\u2019re talking about surrogacy being roughly as big as the weight loss industry in just a few years. You\u2019ll be seeing surrogacy ads as often as Ozempic commercials.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There are all kinds of reasons why the industry is doing so well. One of them is that infertility is on the rise. Roughly one in ten men and women who are at childbearing age are <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ccrmivf.com\/blog\/is-infertility-on-the-rise\/#:~:text=Infertility%20rates%20are%20rising%2C%20according,of%20childbearing%20age%20have%20infertility.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">infertile<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  in this country. In the 1950s, worldwide, each woman had an average of five children. That number is now down to two children, and it\u2019s falling further. I\u2019ve <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/the-origins-of-the-anti-human-depopulation-agenda\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">outlined<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  some of the reasons for this infertility crisis in the past.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Suffice it to say, it\u2019s something the most powerful Left-wing activist groups in the country, including Planned Parenthood, have been hoping to achieve for quite some time. They explicitly want to depopulate the Earth, so they welcome the fact that sperm counts have dropped 38% in a decade. They\u2019re happy to see more women killing their children, and more men removing themselves from the gene pool.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But the problem here is bigger than infertility because surrogacy is not an appropriate or moral or justifiable response to infertility in any event. Surrogacy (especially commercial surrogacy) is arguably the most direct form of human commodification this side of slavery. It is the purchasing and renting of human bodies, organs, and body parts. That\u2019s true regardless of your motivation for doing it. And we don\u2019t allow that kind of transaction in any other context. Federal law prohibits you from selling your organs on eBay. Virtually every jurisdiction in this country outlaws prostitution. People are not chattel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But in this one case, it\u2019s allowed, because otherwise, we\u2019re told that infertile couples and gay men wouldn\u2019t be able to have children. Therefore, it\u2019s worth the sacrifice of human embryos. It\u2019s worth turning a handful of poor countries like Georgia and Ukraine into surrogacy hubs. The women in these countries are selling their bodies for rent to foreigners who are looking for a lower rate, compared to what they might find in the United States. And a lot of couples, particularly gay couples, are taking advantage of that offer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You might remember that, during the gay marriage debate, we heard the familiar line that two consenting adults should be able to do whatever they want, they\u2019re not hurting anyone. But that was never true, and surrogacy makes that extremely clear. Surrogacy deprives children of their mothers it robs them of a connection that is hard-wired from birth. No matter how much propaganda you force on children, no matter how many times they hear the lie that having two fathers is completely normal and natural, they know it\u2019s not true.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There\u2019s a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fact-check-does-this-video-show-lava-from-a-volcanic-eruption-in-the-democratic-republic-of-the-congo\/\" title=\"FACT CHECK: Does This Video Show Lava From A Volcanic Eruption In The Democratic Republic Of The Congo?\">video circulating online<\/a> right now that makes this point tragically clear. It\u2019s footage of a surrogate mother wishing her child a happy birthday. This is a mother who sold her eggs a few years ago to a couple of gay guys, and only sees her daughter through an occasional video call. Here\u2019s one of those calls:<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As a parent, that clip angers me at the deepest levels of my soul. The thought of my own children being deprived of their mother is horrifying. To lose their mother would be to lose a part of themselves. Like losing a limb, but worse. And yet this is done to children intentionally, and all for the sake of satisfying the wishes of gay couple.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">That clip, by the way, is from Surrogacy Concern, which is a group in the U.K. that opposes surrogacy. And yet, in the UK, commercial surrogacy isn\u2019t generally allowed. Contracts for commercial surrogacy aren\u2019t enforceable for the most part. But they still allow so-called \u201caltruistic surrogacy,\u201d where the surrogate doesn\u2019t accept any payment, outside of expenses that are incurred.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But as you can see from the video, this model isn\u2019t much of an improvement over the commercial model. \u201cAltruistic surrogacy\u201d isn\u2019t remotely altruistic, when you consider its impact on both the child and the mother. It\u2019s devastating and painful for the mother in ways she must vividly understand. And devastating and painful for the child in ways that she cannot yet fully understand. But one day she will.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">And yet, somehow, it\u2019s likely that things are only going to get more and more deranged and dehumanizing from here, as we continue to divorce human reproduction from its natural context. The ultimate dream for many on the Left is to one day make men into surrogates via implanted uteruses. I don\u2019t know if this will ever be scientifically possible \u2014 I doubt it will be, as sustaining a pregnancy requires a lot more than just a uterus, after all \u2014 but I do know what some trans activists plan to do with that power should they ever be granted it. Here\u2019s one video, which was surfaced recently by Robby Starbuck, that gives you some idea:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">This man who says he\u2019s trans wants to get the first trans uterus transplant so he can get an abortion. Folks, this is a death cult. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/iFaNZfqICg\">pic.twitter.com\/iFaNZfqICg<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Robby Starbuck (@robbystarbuck) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/robbystarbuck\/status\/1699773006115958980?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 7, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">He\u2019s grinning about killing a child for the same reason that Lia Thomas grins while beating female swimmers and depriving them of their rightful accolades and opportunities, which is that he ascribes to an ideology of extreme pathological narcissism. It\u2019s reminiscent of the video of that <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/the-transgender-movement-is-morphing-into-the-transhumanist-movement-and-the-results-are-horrific\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">WPATH expert<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  talking about turning people\u2019s genitals into abstract art. Above everything else, these people cannot tolerate being told \u201cno.\u201d They simply have to believe that they can do anything they want.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In that sense, the underlying ideas behind trans ideology and the commercial surrogacy movement aren\u2019t that distinct. They\u2019re both premised on the idea that humans can be gods. They think people can invent their own genders, just as easily as they can invent new ways for two men to \u201chave a child.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But humans don\u2019t have the power to create new genders. Two men don\u2019t have the power to create a child. And no one has the authority to end an innocent human life. The commercial surrogacy industry, like so many other movements we\u2019ve been told to accept over the past decade, is yet another step towards a dystopia that embraces delusions, instead of rejecting them. And as we\u2019ve seen before, if this is allowed to continue, many children will be irreparably damaged if not killed. They will be forced to suffer in order to appease narcissists and psychopaths. And, as with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/woke-comedy-manager-leaves-entertainment-industry-to-start-unsafe-space-podcast-after-seeing-the-light\/\" title=\"Woke Comedy Manager Leaves Entertainment Industry To Start \u2018Unsafe Space\u2019 Podcast After \u2018Seeing The Light\u2019\">trans movement<\/a>, women \u2014 the very people who are supposedly \u201cempowered\u201d by this new approach \u2014 will again be collateral damage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Finding practices legal in the US but banned for moral reasons in Canada and Europe isn&#8217;t common.
