The book\u200d delves into Clinton&#8217;s personal journey, featuring stories of individuals who impacted him profoundly. This release follows the success \u2064of FX&#8217;s series &#8220;Impeachment,&#8221; shedding light on significant events from Clinton&#8217;s later years. Clinton shares reflections on \u2063his experiences, struggles, and sources of inspiration in this upcoming memoir.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_78\">\n<p>Former President <a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/bill-clinton\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Bill Clinton<\/a> is set to release a new<a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/books\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title> memoir<\/a> on the more than 20 years since he was in office.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, Clinton described <em>Citizen: My Life After the White House<\/em> as \u201cthe story of my 23-plus years since leaving the <a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/white-house\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>White House<\/a>, told largely through the stories of other people who changed my life as I tried to help change theirs, of those who supported me, including those I loved and lost, and of the mistakes I made along the way.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The book comes three years after FX released its series \u201cImpeachment,\u201d which told the story of Monica Lewinsky, the White House aide who had an affair with the president that led to Clinton\u2019s impeachment. Clinton expressed his belief that \u201ca life in public service can be deeply rewarding if you accept that in the constant ebb and flow of history, there are no permanent victories or defeats.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Both Hillary Clinton and their daughter Chelsea Clinton have been busy with their production company, HiddenLight Productions. <em>In Her Hands<\/em> was the first documentary from the two and is available on Netflix after a Toronto International Film Festival premiere.
