The majority of the shootings occurred between 8 p.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday. <\/p>\n<p>One of the shootings was a mass shooting, killing one woman, 19, and injuring four others. The suspect opened fire at the group, who were in a business, at approximately 1 a.m. Police <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/chicago-shooting-five-shot-one-dead-1db38c81acbd23ee33205c629c0aba1b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"said\">said<\/a> the circumstances of the shooting weren\u2019t known, and no one is in custody.<\/p>\n<p>The level of the violence drew national attention, with Rep. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/jim-jordan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Jim Jordan\">Jim Jordan<\/a> (R-OH) blaming it on the Democratic leadership of the city.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c33 shot. 7 killed.
