Those labeled \u200bas &#8220;Eligible-Not Paid&#8221; as of \u200bApril 10 and awaiting payments from 2023 or earlier will receive their funds \u200don April 18. In 17 days, Alaskan residents eligible for\u2064 the Permanent Fund Dividend\u200d but yet to\u2064 receive \u200ctheir checks will finally get them. Those identified as &#8220;Eligible-Not Paid&#8221; \u200cas of April 10,\u2063 waiting for payments from 2023 or\u200c earlier,\u2062 will receive their funds on April 18.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_78\">\n<p>In 17 days, eligible residents who have not received their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/money\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">checks<\/a> from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/alaska\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Alaska<\/a> Department of\u00a0Revenue as part of the Permanent Fund Dividend will receive their checks.<\/p>\n<p>Residents with the \u201cEligible-Not Paid\u201d status as of April 10 who have yet to receive their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/stimulus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"checks\">checks<\/a> from the Permanent Fund Dividend program from 2023 or earlier will get their payment on April 18. Those who have already received their Permanent Fund Dividend payments for last year or earlier will not get another payment on that date.<\/p>\n<p>Alaska residents must intend to remain a resident of the state indefinitely and may not be a convicted felon, among other requirements, to qualify for a check from the program.<\/p>\n<p>Payments from the Permanent Fund Dividend are determined by Alaska\u2019s annual\u00a0mineral revenues and are sent to eligible residents each year. The payment from the program was worth $1,312 per resident in 2023, and distribution for that payment began in October of last year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe 2023 PFD marks the 42nd year Alaskans have received their share of the state\u2019s natural resource wealth,\u201d Alaska Department of Revenue Commissioner Adam Crum said in a statement about the 2023 payment. \u201cI would like to thank our Permanent Fund Dividend Division for their tireless work year-round in administering the program and processing the applications.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis year, we processed over 8,000 more applications than in 2022,\u201d Crum said. \u201cThe 2023 PFD will inject nearly $1 billion into the state\u2019s\u00a0economy\u00a0and directly into the hands of Alaskans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CLICK HERE TO READ MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Permanent Fund Dividend had applications open from Jan. 1 through Sunday. The next time applications will be open for the program is Jan. 1, 2025.
