This scrutiny, while extensive,\u2062 did not alter the core revelations of the Biden family&#8217;s questionable dealings with foreign entities as highlighted by the Committee.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p><?xml encoding=\"utf-8\" ?><?xml encoding=\"utf-8\" ?><?xml encoding=\"utf-8\" ?><\/p>\n<div class=\"article-content\">\n<p>The Washington Post\u2019s lead fake fact-checker Glenn Kessler accused House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer of offering \u201cscant\u201d evidence of Biden family corruption but failed to dispute <em>any <\/em>of the oodles of evidence the Republican outlined in a <a href=\"https:\/\/rumble.com\/v4lun50-james-comer-talks-about-joe-biden-impeachment-on-jimmy-failla-3-25-2024.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">recent interview<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>In a conversation with Fox News\u2019s Jimmy Failla on Monday, Comer gave a rundown of the evidence including the fact that nearly a dozen Biden family members received payments first shuffled through several Biden-linked bank accounts. The money was sourced from various business deals with foreign oligarchs who had a vested interest in making friends with a high-level U.S. official like a vice president. Those payments were also at the center of the IRS\u2019s tax investigation against Hunter Biden. <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2-long d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-103998488\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1379703300879-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-5c5d9e65793caf57a390edfb7790e897 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-5c5d9e65793caf57a390edfb7790e897\"><\/div>\n<p>President Joe Biden unquestionably benefitted from this arrangement after receiving a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/11\/01\/follow-40000-from-communist-china-directly-to-joe-bidens-bank-account\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">$40,000 CEFC China Energy check<\/a>\u00a0from his brother in 2017 and another $200,000 in Americore cash that Jim claimed were\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/oversight.house.gov\/blog\/wsj-opinion-direct-payment-reveals-joe-biden-lied-benefitted-from-his-familys-business-schemes%EF%BF%BC\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">personal loan repayments<\/a>. Biden\u2019s bookkeeper Eric Schwerin testified this month that despite his intimate relationship with the then-VP\u2019s finances, he never saw any indication that Biden handed out loans to anyone.<\/p>\n<p>After hearing this summation of the Biden family shenanigans, Kessler <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2024\/03\/28\/james-comer-sums-up-his-evidence-biden-crimes-its-scant\/?utm_source=twitter&#038;utm_campaign=wp_main&#038;utm_medium=social\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">published an article<\/a> on Thursday complaining that the corruption evidence Comer mentioned during the media clip is<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/washingtonpost\/status\/1773358994540711938?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> \u201cscant.\u201d <\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>Kessler pretended to \u201cdissect\u201d Comer\u2019s comments but did not challenge any of the evidence the Republican mentioned. He simply took issue with how Comer, who has offered countless interviews and press conferences on the matter, delivered the information in the brief TV appearance with Failla. <\/p>\n<p>In the clip, Comer mentioned \u201cten different Biden family members\u00a0that received\u201d diluted payments from foreign companies. <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-350c31a773a3657a5e6fae4fdf54dff2 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-350c31a773a3657a5e6fae4fdf54dff2\"><\/div>\n<p>Kessler agreed that Jim Biden, Sara Biden, Hallie Biden, Melissa Cohen, Kathleen Buhle, three unnamed children, Hunter Biden, <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/11\/01\/follow-40000-from-communist-china-directly-to-joe-bidens-bank-account\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">and Joe<\/a> \u2014 10 Biden family members \u2014 received the shell company payments. Yet he contested Comer\u2019s claims on the grounds that \u201cvirtually all of this money flowed to Hunter Biden\u201d and \u201cThe others received relatively small amounts.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>It shouldn\u2019t matter if the Biden relatives were paid only $1 instead of $10 million. The House Oversight Committee\u2019s revelation <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/05\/10\/bidens-made-millions-exchanging-political-favors-for-foreign-money-then-tried-to-cover-it-up-oversight-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">last year<\/a> that it had bank records detailing foreign companies\u2019 payments to the Bidens wholly contradicts the president\u2019s lies, <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/01\/26\/local-man-who-said-a-fact-was-true-but-false-says-it-is-unnecessary-to-track-bidens-lies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">which Kessler thinks are unnecessary to track<\/a>, that there is an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/story\/2019\/08\/28\/biden-brother-business-2020-1476815\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cabsolute wall\u201d<\/a> between business and family. <\/p>\n<p>Kessler also took issue with Comer\u2019s characterization of payments \u201cfor services that we have yet to determine.\u201d Even after readily ignoring the testimony of <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/02\/13\/bobulinski-joe-biden-was-the-brand-his-family-was-selling-to-foreign-governments\/\">Biden<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/02\/13\/bobulinski-joe-biden-was-the-brand-his-family-was-selling-to-foreign-governments\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/08\/03\/devon-archer-burisma-hired-hunter-biden-to-develop-brand-intimidate-opponents\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">family<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/03\/04\/biden-business-associate-jason-galanis-says-hunter-used-joe-to-get-deals-across-the-finish-line\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> associates<\/a> who said Hunter was often included in deals because of his father\u2019s \u201cbrand,\u201d Kessler admitted Hunter wasn\u2019t <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2019\/11\/27\/hunter-bidens-reported-burisma-payout-was-far-above-comparable-board-compensation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">necessarily qualified<\/a> for every position he had.<\/p>\n<p>Kessler tried to take issue with other parts of Comer\u2019s interview, including when he claimed the money came from at least five foreign countries, but failed to counter any of the facts presented. Instead, he griped about Comer calling the foreign oligarchs \u201cbad people in bad countries.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-cb2863aaa077f801fd8bc20beeff2cc4 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-cb2863aaa077f801fd8bc20beeff2cc4\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cAnother sweeping generalization,\u201d Kessler wrote. \u201cThe United States is a strong supporter of Ukraine in its war against Russia.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The committee leaves no publicly presented fact unaccounted for, including clarifying that the \u201cnearly $30 million\u201d invoked by Comer in the interview \u201cincludes loans to pay Hunter\u2019s taxes and the sale of his artwork.\u201d Yet Kessler spends more than 1,200 words casting doubt on the committee\u2019s findings simply because he doesn\u2019t like them.<\/p>\n<p>Kessler\u2019s nitpicking doesn\u2019t change the facts of the case. The Bidens sold access to their patriarch to foreign companies, <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/02\/13\/bidens-and-their-associates-paid-millions-shortly-after-joe-met-with-ccp-linked-energy-company-chairman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">many of them<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/08\/09\/investigators-biden-business-brought-in-20-million-and-counting-from-foreign-oligarchs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">closely linked<\/a> to their home country\u2019s government, in exchange for millions. There are <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/11\/01\/follow-40000-from-communist-china-directly-to-joe-bidens-bank-account\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">bank receipts<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/07\/25\/joe-biden-allegedly-interacted-with-sons-clients-more-than-200-times\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">White House visitor logs<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/07\/25\/here-are-all-the-people-who-have-corroborated-biden-family-corruption\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">testimonies from Biden business partners<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/06\/22\/hunter-biden-threatened-my-father-could-hold-a-grudge-in-extortive-message-to-chinese-associate-revealed-by-whistleblower\/\">text messages<\/a>, and other documents indicating the Biden family profited off their patriarch\u2019s name and position. <\/p>\n<p>Anyone who bothers to read the article will quickly realize Kessler is not disputing that the Bidens used their patriarch\u2019s name to maintain an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/deeply-corrupt-and-a-congenital-liar-an-exclusive-interview-with-the-woman-who-reviewed-hunter-bidens-laptop-firsthand\/\" title=\"\u2018Deeply Corrupt And A Congenital Liar\u2019: An Exclusive Interview With The Woman Who Reviewed Hunter Biden\u2019s Laptop Firsthand\">international influence-peddling scheme<\/a> that financially benefitted their family. Instead, Kessler focused on splitting hairs and complaining that Comer generalized information that has been publicly available to media mouthpieces like Kessler to review for months if not years. <\/p>\n<p>The Washington Post\u2019s profound dishonesty should come as no surprise considering the publication <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/11\/22\/the-corrupt-media-did-not-fall-for-the-russia-collusion-hoax-they-were-part-of-it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">shamelessly advanced the Russia collusion hoax<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/03\/24\/washington-post-says-asking-kbj-questions-about-her-legal-rulings-is-worse-than-falsely-accusing-kavanaugh-of-rape\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">platformed the Brett Kavanaugh rape conspiracy<\/a>. Kessler, especially, is guilty of parading Democrat talking points about <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/08\/10\/democracy-dies-in-washington-post-fact-checker-washington-post-fact-checker-deserves-four-pinocchios-for-his-botched-biden-burism-fact-check\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop, Burisma,<\/a> and other parts of the first family\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/china-exploits-lobbying-loophole-to-dodge-disclosure\/\" title=\"China Exploits Lobbying Loophole to Dodge Disclosure\">influence-peddling operation<\/a> as \u201cfact\u201d then quietly amending his articles later to begrudgingly reflect the truths conservative media reported from the beginning. <\/p>\n<p>Kessler\u2019s article doesn\u2019t simply prove he is a partisan hack employed by a publication that has <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/tag\/washington-post\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">done nothing but run cover for Biden and Democrats while cheering and aiding the targeting of conservatives.<\/a> It also shows the corruption of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/nyt-reports-on-bombshell-evidence-of-biden-influence-peddling-scheme-by-denying-it-exists\/\" title=\"NYT denies existence of bombshell evidence of Biden's influence-peddling scheme.\">corporate media complex<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>In the blink of an eye, publications like the Washington Post went from denying there was any evidence of Biden family corruption to claiming there <em>is<\/em> in fact evidence.
