Kim sought bracketing and a shared slogan, he would be associating with the Camden County Democratic Committee and its candidates, who are adverse parties to him in this active litigation before Your Honor,\u201d Kim\u2019s attorneys wrote Thursday in a letter to U.S. District Judge Zahid Quraishi. \u201cBracketing with a legal adversary would not be appropriate, and would be confusing to voters.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In all other counties that use the county line, Kim has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/2939310\/andy-kim-back-movement-get-rid-county-line-now-benefiting-him\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>agreed<\/a> to be placed on the line.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In Camden County, however, Kim has filed to run under the slogan \u201cNew Jersey Democratic Team,\u201d which means this year, the Camden county line will have no candidate for Senate.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>While Kim\u2019s lawsuit originally hinged on his disadvantage, that has since changed after New Jersey first lady Tammy Murphy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/senate\/2936114\/tammy-murphy-drops-out-of-new-jersey-senate-race\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>dropped out<\/a> of the race to unseat Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ). With Kim now leading, attorneys defending the county line say the lawsuit\u2019s new circumstances \u201cdrastically changes the relevant analysis of irreparable harm.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, Kim, among other candidates, was barred from entering the Camden County convention to campaign.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>At the time, Kim criticized Camden County Democrats. Kim said he requested to attend the meeting but was denied, alongside Patricia Campos-Medina, another candidate in the race.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen Patricia shows up and is right there at the building, how do you not let a Senate candidate into the building to just at least be able to say a few words?\u201d Kim said. \u201cShe wasn\u2019t asking for much, I\u2019m guessing just a few minutes of their time.
