The debate about the Israel-Hamas war has spread over the past few months on college campuses and in Congress. The poll\u2019s findings showed a new, sharp shift in public opinion. <\/p>\n<p>Only 36% of the public approve of Israel\u2019s military actions. Republican approval has dropped to 64%, which was previously 71% in November. On Monday, the U.N. Security Council passed a resolution calling for a ceasefire. The United States abstained rather than voting against the resolution.<\/p>\n<p>Following the U.N. vote, Israeli Prime Minister <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/benjamin-netanyahu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Benjamin Netanyahu\">Benjamin Netanyahu<\/a> withdrew the Israeli delegation to Washington. On Wednesday, Netanyahu reversed his decision and decided to reschedule the delegation\u2019s visit to the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>The poll comes as there remain numerous Israeli hostages still in Hamas captivity in Gaza. Many of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hamas-releases-24-hostages-in-first-step-of-ceasefire-deal\/\" title=\"Hamas frees 24 hostages as part of ceasefire agreement\">freed hostages<\/a> have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/03\/26\/world\/middleeast\/hamas-hostage-sexual-assault.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"detailed\">detailed<\/a> being repeatedly raped and tortured by Hamas. <\/p>\n<p>Biden administration officials have been under pressure from activists in support of an Israel ceasefire. <\/p>\n<p>President Joe Biden, first lady Jill Biden, and Vice President Kamala Harris have been regularly interrupted at speeches and public events by chants from activists.<\/p>\n<p>The president was heckled on Tuesday by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/protests-against-roe-v-wade-decision-continue-in-washington\/\" title=\"Protests Against Roe v.
