Judge Merchan&#8217;s daughter has ties to a progressive political \u2064consultancy working with Democratic clients, including President Joe Biden.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday railed against Judge Juan Merchan, who is overseeing a New York criminal case against the former president, for issuing a gag order.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Under Merchan\u2019s order, Trump is restricted from speaking about those testifying against him, including former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen and porn star Stormy Daniels, who claims she had a sexual encounter with Trump before he was president.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cJudge Juan Merchan, who is suffering from an acute case of Trump Derangement Syndrome \u2026 has now issued another illegal, un-American, unConstitutional \u2018order,\u2019 as he continues to try and take away my Rights,\u201d Trump <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/posts\/112168132432855508\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">posted<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> to social media site Truth Social.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/more-than-enough-blame-to-go-around\/\" title=\"More Than Enough Blame To Go Around\">real estate mogul<\/a> also said that the judge\u2019s daughter \u201crepresents Crooked Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Adam \u2018Shifty\u2019 Schiff, and other Radical Liberals\u201d and \u201cposted a picture of me behind bars,\u201d which Trump said \u201cmakes it completely impossible for me to get a fair trial.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2024\/03\/26\/trump-attacks-hush-money-judge-points-to-daughters-political-work.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">reported<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> by CNBC, the judge\u2019s daughter, Loren Merchan, was or currently is an executive at Authentic Campaigns, a progressive political consultant that works for various Democratic clients, including President Joe Biden. Notably, Judge Merchan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2023\/04\/06\/politics\/judge-merchan-trump-biden-contribution\/index.html\">donated<\/a> to Biden\u2019s presidential campaign against Trump in 2020.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Trump continued his post on Tuesday, writing, \u201cThis Judge, by issuing a vicious \u2018Gag Order,\u2019 is wrongfully attempting to deprive me of my First Amendment Right to speak out against the Weaponization of Law Enforcement, including the fact that Crooked Joe Biden, [Attorney General] Merrick Garland, and their Hacks and Thugs are tracking and following me all across the Country, obsessively trying to persecute me, while everyone knows I have done nothing wrong!\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who brought the case against Trump, claims the former president falsified business records related to payments he made before the 2016 election from Cohen to Daniels. Trump has pleaded not guilty to the 34 counts brought by Bragg\u2019s office and denied claims that he ever had a relationship with Daniels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The trial is <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/judge-dismisses-trumps-attempt-to-delay-hush-money-trial\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">scheduled<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> to begin on April 15, despite efforts from Trump\u2019s legal team to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/newsletters\/playbook-pm\/2024\/03\/21\/braggs-big-filing-and-bidens-big-policy-barrage-00132333\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">delay<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> over a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/greg-gutfeld-offers-advice-to-fauci-after-lab-leak-document-dump-resign-and-get-a-lawyer\/\" title=\"Greg Gutfeld Offers Advice To Fauci After Lab Leak Document Dump: \u2018Resign And Get A Lawyer\u2019\">recent document dump<\/a>.
