However, despite his progress, Donald Trump maintains a lead in these battleground states. The\u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/pompeo-raises-national-security-concerns-about-trump-backed-dr-oz\/\" title=\"Pompeo Raises \u2018National Security Concerns\u2019 About Trump-Backed Dr. Oz\">race remains tight<\/a>, with Biden showing gains in various states.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<p>President Joe Biden is gaining ground in multiple 2024 swing states, the latest poll from Bloomberg found, but his Republican challenger Donald Trump still holds a lead in each of the seven battleground races, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolling.com\/elections\/president\/2024\/battleground-states\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RealClearPolitics<\/a> polling average.<\/p>\n<p>RCP considers Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin the top battleground states in the 2024 election. According to the current RCP average of polls, Trump remains in front in each of those states. A poll released by Bloomberg on Tuesday, however, shows Biden making significant gains in some of the swing states.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2024-03-26\/election-2024-poll-biden-gains-on-trump-in-six-swing-states\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bloomberg survey<\/a>, which polled nearly 5,000 voters in the seven <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-beats-biden-in-seven-swing-states-ahead-of-2024-poll\/\" title=\"Poll: Trump wins seven swing states against Biden in 2024\">swing states combined<\/a>, Biden and Trump are tied in Michigan and Pennsylvania, while the president now posts a one-point lead in Wisconsin. The new poll decreases Trump\u2019s lead in the RCP average to just 0.2 points in Pennsylvania, 0.8 points in Wisconsin, and 3.5 points in Michigan. The former president\u2019s lead in Arizona and Georgia remains at a solid 5.2 points, and he\u2019s up by 4.4 points in North Carolina and 3 points in Nevada, according to the RCP average.<\/p>\n<p>Among the current seven battleground states, Trump only won North Carolina in the 2020 election. That was a drastic turn from Trump\u2019s success in 2016 when he won each of the swing states except Nevada.<\/p>\n<p>In a five-way race factoring in independent candidates Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Cornel West, along with Green Party candidate Jill Stein, Trump leads nationally with 42.2% to Biden\u2019s 39.5%, while Kennedy comes in third with 10.2%, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolling.com\/polls\/president\/general\/2024\/trump-vs-biden-vs-kennedy-vs-west-vs-stein\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RCP average<\/a> shows.<\/p>\n<p>Some Democrats fear that Kennedy \u2014 who on Tuesday picked leftist attorney and Democrat donor Nicole Shanahan as his running mate \u2014 will hurt the president\u2019s re-election chances and pull more potential Biden voters than potential Trump voters. During a Tuesday afternoon call hosted by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and joined by multiple Democratic lawmakers, Pennsylvania Lieutenant Gov. Austin Davis warned that Kennedy is an \u201cobstacle\u201d to Biden\u2019s re-election, Fox News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/democrat-campaign-call-reveals-panic-mode-rfk-jr-white-house-bid-scramble-save-biden-relection-hopes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are doing everything in our power to get President Biden and Vice President Harris re-elected. It\u2019s critical that we take seriously every possible obstacle to that goal. And let me be clear, that\u2019s exactly what Robert F. Kennedy is in this election. He\u2019s a spoiler,\u201d\u00a0Davis said.<\/p>\n<p>Michigan Democratic state Sen.
