At least half a dozen people are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/6-people-presumed-dead-after-cargo-ship-crash-levels-baltimore-bridge\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">presumed dead<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou were the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/buttigieg-were-in-active-conversation-with-cdc-about-requiring-covid-test-before-domestic-flights\/\" title=\"Buttigieg: We\u2019re In \u2018Active Conversation\u2019 With CDC About Requiring COVID Test Before Domestic Flights\">transportation secretary<\/a> in like a golden age of that department in my view, and I\u2019m not saying it in a biased fashion,\u201d said Ingraham, who was a speechwriter in the Reagan administration.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou were an expert on so many things but tell us what happens next, or what should happen next in this mess of a situation involving a critical port?\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFirst let me mention the six apparent fatalities, apparently all highway maintenance workers. That\u2019s one of the most dangerous and under-appreciated jobs in America,\u201d Burnley said. \u201cUsually, it\u2019s motorists that threaten them and in this case, a bridge comes down.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the segment, which was <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2024\/03\/26\/jim-burnley-predicts-next-steps-baltimore-bridge-collapse\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">highlighted by the Daily Caller<\/a>, Burnley went on to talk about the National Transportation Safety Board, an independent federal agency <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ntsb.gov\/Pages\/home.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tasked<\/a> with determining the probable causes of transportation accidents and issuing safety recommendations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe way this should proceed, and I expect it will proceed, is the investigation will be led by what I believe is the most credible agency in the United States government \u2013 that\u2019s the National Transportation Safety Board,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is bipartisan.
