Abbott deploys Texas National Guard to aid with border 'invasion'.\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/better-than-expected-u-s-economy-added-638000-jobs-in-october-unemployment-dropped-to-6-9\/\" title=\"Better Than Expected: U.S. Economy Added 638,000 Jobs in October, Unemployment Dropped to 6.9%\">federal government<\/a> falls short<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_78\">\n<p>Gov. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/sarah-sanders\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Sarah Huckabee Sanders<\/a> (R-AR) said illegal immigrants are crossing into the United States en masse because they know they can \u201cwalk right in\u201d under the leadership of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/joe-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>President Joe Biden<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Arkansas governor stated that Biden has not been aggressive on several topics while president, including negotiating with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/mexico\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Mexico<\/a> on how to deal with illegal immigration. Huckabee Sanders was asked why people from across the globe, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2915259\/fbi-director-wray-warns-of-wide-array-of-dangerous-threats-stemming-from-border\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>China<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/immigration\/2925053\/hezbollah-terrorist-southern-border-planned-new-york-bomb\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>the Middle East<\/a>, are making their way to the southern border, to which she explained that the Biden administration has neglected border security.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause they know that they can walk right in. Because the federal government has not done one of their most important and basic duties in securing our country,\u201d Huckabee Sanders said on Fox News\u2019s <em>Hannity<\/em>. \u201cThankfully, we have governors across the country that are stepping up in doing what the federal government has failed to do under this president.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Huckabee Sanders was referring to many Republican governors who have sent members of their state National Guard to assist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/texas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Texas<\/a> in securing the southern border, with Arkansas\u2019s National Guard recently being sent to the Lone Star State. Huckabee Sanders also stressed how the lack of border security is affecting not just border states but all states.<\/p>\n<p>The governor <a href=\"https:\/\/governor.arkansas.gov\/news_post\/governor-sanders-deploys-arkansas-national-guard-to-southern-border-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>authorized the Arkansas National Guard<\/a> to send around 40 Guardsmen to Texas to secure the border, and they would assist in these measures from April 1 through May 30. Last month, <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/state-watch\/4442713-desantis-national-guard-troops-texas-border\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Govs. Ron DeSantis<\/a> (R-FL) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/2864550\/noem-announces-deployment-state-national-guard-southern-border\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Kristi Noem<\/a> (R-SD) deployed their National Guard members to help with border security.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/immigration\/2935012\/illegal-immigration-increases-february-new-border-figures\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Data from Customs and Border Protection<\/a>, released on Friday, revealed\u00a0256,094\u00a0noncitizens were encountered attempting to enter the U.S. last month, up from 242,521 in January though down from 370,899 noncitizens in December.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders mentioned that illegal immigrants are entering the US in large numbers because they believe they can easily enter under President Joe Biden&#8217;s leadership.
