This financial support, \u2064totaling $300,000, is allocated to enhance collegiate athletic departments. However, it\u200c cannot be utilized for\u200b name,\u200b image, and likeness payments to athletes.<\/p>\n<p>The\u200b recipients of this funding include Appalachian State, East Carolina, Elizabeth \u200cCity State, Fayetteville State, N.C. A&#038;T, N.C. \u2064Central, \u200dUNC Asheville, UNC Charlotte, UNC Greensboro, UNC Pembroke, UNC Wilmington, Western Carolina,\u200b and Winston-Salem State.
